Sonic the Hedgehog Movie (live action)

So after they decided to delay the movie for the sake of re-designing Sonic and changing up some things, today we are getting the first trailer of the Sonic the Hedgehog live action movie. With the new design of Sonic and a much better look on the movie itself.

Here is the trailer:

I must say, compared to the old trailer and design, not only does the movie looking much more enjoyable now, but Sonic's new design is also pretty good.

Looks 100,000% better than that horrifying monstrosity they had before.


Probably still not going to watch it though. Nothing about the trailer gives me confidence that it will be a genuinely good movie and I really can't stand to see Jim Carey do his typical repetitive shtick again. Great that they listened to fans, but whether or not Sonic looks true to his design isn't going to make the script any better.

He looks great!! I didn’t have any interest in this before, but not only does his design look good, this new trailer actually makes the movie itself look a lot better!

I want to see it just because they did something rare and actually listened to the fans and what they wanted. That’s so rare these days and a company actually admitting it screwed up and trying to improve itself needs to be rewarded imo.

He definitely looks better but I still would prefer to NOT have a live action movie. It still creeps me right out.

Defininetly agreed, They clearly worked hard and showed they aren't about the money with this movie and I support that. Though I have no interest in a live-action sonic the hedgehog and even though it's improved I didn't really find myself anymore interested in it than I did after the first trailer. Seems to have detective pikachu vibe. Then again, detective pikachu didn't have Jim Carey as Dr. Robotnik. Might give this one a try for the heck of it.

I'm so glad that they were able to make Sonic look a ton better. I not even a big fan of Sonic but I was so disappointed with his design in the first trailer, so waking up this morning to a shiny new trailer made me feel a lot better

I prob will go see it when it's released, mostly because not many movies come out that I'm interested in, but also because I absolutely love Jim Carrey.

I think no other Sonic characters (besides EggMan) will appear, and even then EggMan (or Robotnik whatever name he goes by in the movie) isn't super animated. Tails would be cool to see, but there has been zero mention of any other characters that I've seen so far.

But I gotta agree, he looks sooooo much more better in this redesign, like 100% better.

I'm just surprised but happy they listened to everyone and redesigned him instead of giving us the middle finger and continuing anyway. There's something to be said about that.

Much more tolerable and I'm glad they stepped up to change Sonic's design. You don't see that every day where studios delay a movie because of the audience's huge dislike on a certain aspect.
