i played the demo for an hour

i thought it was gonna b like the global testfire, but it was just single player

the worker said i played v good and gave me a free squid hat

today was nice

I hope that people locking to a certain color only effects their character/what they see. It would be annoying in multiplayer if you were constantly the same color because one guy on your team has locked to blue when I want a nice variety.

I think it works in which it is just for what they see. The only reason I think this is because the colours are kinda preset into pairs (lime green and purple, dark blue and orange, cyan and pink, etc) so choosing a pair that technically isn't in the presets would be a bit weird and I don't think it's in the game coding. I mean it's either that or the choosing colours thing is just out of your preferred preset. In which case I would think it puts you into matches where the colour pair will be that and then switches you to another lobby with those colours.

But from what I can gather, it's just for the player to see. Everyone else is in the matches preset pair and the other player who has chosen otherwise just sees it as what they've chosen.

Sorry if I didn't make much sense.... I can't write my thoughts down well in words XDDD

Any word on splitscreen online multiplayer? I heard there's going to be some sort of local multiplayer, but being able to play splitscreen with family or friends would be cool too.

Nah theres no split screen. Too bad though. The local multiplayer is the battle dojo which you pop balloons for points. One person uses the gamepad and someone uses the tv

Nahh, it made sense :3 I assume that's how it will work anyway, I'm just hoping my assumptions are correct.

It surprises me that they didn't use orange/blue squids on the disc...Though then again, I don't recall what any of my game discs look like anyway, so Splatoon could be a blank disc with the title written in sharpie for all the difference it will make to me.

Is that balloon pop thing available for online play? I saw a bit of it on a video and it looked fun, though I'll probably never get to play it if it's only local.

I want to see more weapons. I heard there is like 22 weapons in the game but I wonder how many of those are the same main weapon with a different special and sub i.e. the Tentatek Splattershot.
