Splatoon Splatoon General Discussion (HYPE THREAD)

The motion controls might feel a little unusual at first but you'll get used to them pretty quickly! I cant imagine playing without motion controls.
 
I want Splatoon for Christmas, along with Super Mario Maker and HHD.

When I first found out about it, I couldn't care less. I got more interested after that Direct about it back in... I don't know when, but it was either late last year or earlier this year, but it wasn't enough to make me want the game. Then the Testfire came around, and I was like oMF THIS GAME IT IS TOO MUCH FUN WHY DON'T I HAVE IT????????????

Anyone wanna twin squad with me? I am trying to get to rank S but it's so hard >u< I am at A 50 now!
 
I was starting to fall back in rank again but last night I had this amazing winning streak. There was hardly any lag which made it easy for me to stop the other team from winning and I usually got at least 15 kills per match.

I also finally got three special savers on my varsity jacket. <3 So glad too because I ordered it from Spyke with two slots filled already so I had to grind for 50k to buy it lol
 
I've got an hour to kill so I'll be on splat if anyone wants to join. VM me if you wanna squad!
 
I was playing with the L3 Nozzlenoze wth a bunch of Run Speed Ups.

Most fun I've had with this game in a while. XD
 
Finally reached S rank today. Now where am I going to get all my money and experience points ;-;

Yeah I stopped as soon as I got it lol. Tbh I really wouldn't care if I dropped back down because I already hit S so I don't really need to keep it (if that makes sense). I'd rather have money for rerolls and exp to hit level 50.

On that note, I hit level 43 today.

Yeah, I might just keep playing ranked now. As long as I get money. I'm really poor because I've been doing turf wars mostly, trying to preserve my rank. I can't be bothered to hold my rank anymore lmao.

Luckily I have my old squad mates to do quad squads with. I'll probably use those matches to level up gear lmao. Yeah I've been doing a lot of turf for leveling and making extra cash. How anyone can have over 1 mil is incredible. Think of all the rerolls you could get. *-*
 
I'm playing ranked tonight much as I can because the turf war only thing starts in a few hours here. I like turf war and all but it's nice to have a different mode as option and to play with friends. And they always put me on the popular team that takes forever to find a team to play anyway. Probably will be Ninjas tonight but I can't be a liar just to get into quicker battles and say I like pirates better.
 
Is it just me or do you seem to move a lot faster in the plaza when you have a run speed up main on?
