[spoiler] Exterior House Customization

Today I reached the 548,000 bell house upgrade and got myself a nice little three room house: Main room, back room and left room. When I spoke to Nook this morning he told me I can customize the exterior of my house. I'm assuming there is no workshop like there was with DIY furniture, but just in case I'm wrong, how do I start customizing the exterior of my house?

talk to nook and select the ‘about my house...’ option; you’ll be able to look at the exterior catalogue there :3

Awesome. I can't wait to see what I unlock as I pay off my loans ^.^ Hopefully there's a mix of old stuff from New Leaf and new stuff as well (I live near my island's beach, I'll do the bamboo/grass roof thing and live in a beach hunt mansion if I can!)
