So the wii's homebrew community has achieved some great things over the years, and now they have found a way to keep some Wii and DS games alive, including City Folk and Wild World, all it takes it a Wii with the homebrew channel (not sure if it's against the rules to link it here so just google it) and a USB stick.
Not sure if I can post this either but I'll risk it http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=819724 that's the link showing users how to patch their games, and the website http://wiimmfi.profeibe.at/index.php
So there are a few limitations as mentioned on the thread and website, and as it's in early stages of the project, don't expect it to be as rock solid as before (okay, it wasn't exactly that good before buuut...)
Hopefully this will help keep the AC CF community alive, and hopefully Nintendo will find a way to come up with an official solution (The Nintendo Wi Fi connection shutdown was due to GameSpy closing down, a whole bunch of games were affected, to my knowledge, it's due to some stupid mobile company buying GameSpy, not Nintendo's fault)
