Storage Question

Been thinking about this since the direct. Do you think we still be able to have items that can be used for storage? I like the in house one that coming BEST IDEA EVER...as a pack-rat I love collect everything but I am hoping we still get those storage we had like in new leaf.

One of the planned rooms of my house was a workroom for crafting where my workbench would been with storage set a side for crafting mats and items need to make things.

i think we actually got to see storage in the direct! it's most likely that menu with all the furniture organized into categories when moving things in your house around. i'll have to go back through the direct to find the timestamp but it looks pretty limitless.

maybe we'll be able to unlock some "traditional" storage that we got in the welcome amiibo update for new leaf through nook miles?

As long as the storage is increased, I'd be fine with the old way. Or maybe when you open a drawer, it takes you to the menu the showed in the Direct...that'd be fine, too.

I couldn't see it properly because it was a white android style bland menu. It was hard to make out what the icons were.

The house storage thing existed in New Leaf, and we still had storage containers, and a train station storage. So I'm sure it's safe to assume they aren't taking away storage containers.
