We have created one final extra stretch goal to conclude the event. If you reach 100,000 StreetPass Silver in Phineas' pockets by the end of Farewell to New Leaf, we will have a community vote on a new balloon design guaranteed for the next TBT event featuring balloons! Quite frankly, we aren't confident whether this goal is even reachable -- it is truly a stretch goal in the sense that we ask you accept in advance it may not be reached. After all, we will have new balloons in the future either way.
If unlocked, this will be an open suggestion thread using reaction votes to determine the winning design. Obviously, there will be some limitations in that we reserve the right to pass an idea if we have reasons to believe it would be inappropriate or simply not fun. And of course, the final result we create may not come out exactly as you imagine in terms of colour or design -- this is not a space to dictate the exact hex codes you want to see. But we can promise we'll try our hardest to create a balloon design best resembling the general concept desired by you!

silver and gold would be cool, but I don't think any on or soon after release new horizons players wanna deal with the ptsd of seeing the bunny day balloons so soon
Ooh, sweet bunny balloon being unlocked is awesome! I don't have enough coupons left to buy any, and I was lucky enough to get one from a token, but this is great news for those who were looking for them~
