tbh I have never actually gotten any email alerts through the subscriptions, even when specifically set it up. Does it actually work?

It seems like the first reply works and after that... Nope. I've been refreshing the page to see replies, once I realized the subscriptions didn't work.

I think you only get one until you view the thread again but I don't know for sure. I just refresh the page. I don't bother with instant notification anymore
