Suggestion: Dream Town Showcase

After talking with some of my TBT friends, I think it would be really cool if TBT had a Forum Section or a whole new system designed for TBT (like the shop/collectables) that showcased Dream Towns submitted by members of TBT! I think it would be a great way of publicizing everyone's towns and it would help inspire/encourage people developing their own towns to the way they dream of making it. Additionally, I think it would give TBT another way of attracting new members and standing out from other AC communities out there. In this system/section, I can imagine users uploading screenshots from their game (from their SD Card) and writing detailed descriptions of their towns (their town's vision/plan, villager list, odd & end details), and possibly customize the design of their showcase (like custom backgrounds and section headers) to add as much personal touch by each user as possible. What do y'all, the members/staff of this community, think of this idea?

Personally I think it's a good idea but it's kind of redundant right now based on how old New Leaf is. It's an idea I would happily get on board with when the next instalment releases though.

I can see where you are coming from Jake and thank you for your support, but a lot of people do still play New Leaf here and it is uncertain when the next Animal Crossing game is coming out especially since the Director of all the past AC games recently left Nintendo (for some unknown reason). Additionally, I don't know of any other AC community out there with a comprehensive showcase of Dream Towns that is community-contributed. I have seen a hand full of threads of members trying to acquire lists of Dream Towns, but most usually sink into the depths of lost threads and usually are not very comprehensive of each town listed in designated threads. I definitely feel like a designated showcase would solve this problem and give TBT another feature to make it stand out from other communities out there. What are your thoughts on this viewpoint Jake?

Well I think it's a good idea, it would stop the new leaf board from being clogged with DA treads

I agree with Jake. While it’s a great idea, it would probably be better to wait until the new AC is released to put it into action.
