August 5th is almost here! And why many people are talking about the Olympics, I'm thinking about the new movie Suicide Squad. Post your predictions and all that fun stuff about the movie here.
The same things people are saying about Jared were said about Heath, and I think that's very, very funny.
TBF Heath wasn't soiling his image by sending people dead rats and used condoms
Indeed. Here's a statement from Jared confirming this, in case anyone's interested:
"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there. The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."
Personally, I think it's pretty unacceptable. I mean, Heath did some questionable things too to prepare for the role, including keeping a diary full of things Heath thought the Joker would find humorous, including sick babies and gay marriage if I remember correctly. All of which had nothing to do with Heath's "real" personality, obviously. He apparently did this for all/most of his movie roles.
I think that Jared realises the shoes he's trying to fit into, so to speak, and I guess he wants to be as iconic as Heath was and still is today, the big difference being him focusing on the reactions of those around him, rather than the development of the character he's portraying.
