August 5th is almost here! And why many people are talking about the Olympics, I'm thinking about the new movie Suicide Squad. Post your predictions and all that fun stuff about the movie here.

Never heard of it, but based on the title I don't think too many people will go for it.

Jared Leto joker is an embarrassment and it's gonna be awful.

Hot Topic's gonna make a killing though.

The same things people are saying about Jared were said about Heath, and I think that's very, very funny.

TBF Heath wasn't soiling his image by sending people dead rats and used condoms

Indeed. Here's a statement from Jared confirming this, in case anyone's interested:

"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there. The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."

Personally, I think it's pretty unacceptable. I mean, Heath did some questionable things too to prepare for the role, including keeping a diary full of things Heath thought the Joker would find humorous, including sick babies and gay marriage if I remember correctly. All of which had nothing to do with Heath's "real" personality, obviously. He apparently did this for all/most of his movie roles.

I think that Jared realises the shoes he's trying to fit into, so to speak, and I guess he wants to be as iconic as Heath was and still is today, the big difference being him focusing on the reactions of those around him, rather than the development of the character he's portraying.

This is really well worded and sums it up pretty well I think.

Exactly. Heath was so into his character and because of this I see Jared being (wrongly) compared to him a lot, even though Heath only went into Joker-mode when the cameras were rolling. He knew he was an actor and that the Joker is a character, and that his characters shouldn't seep into real life. He dedicated himself so well to being the Joker but unlike Jared, he knew he could still respect his co-workers because it was just a damn role.

Heath was a great example of method acting meanwhile Jared's being a disgrace to it.

I heard about Leto's latest "gifts" to his co-stars, and I found it disgusting and extremely rude. I feel like he's in a really awkward cosplay sort of, like those cringey people on the streets of Hollywood lookin for some money while wearing a costume. Like learn to respect others. The other Jokers were pretty legendary and it might be hard to top it, but there's a definite line between great and crazy.

I really dislike Jared's Joker as he looks unfitting and generally awkward, I've heard about the items he has sent to his co-stars and its disgusting I'm pretty sure Nicholson & Ledger didn't do this to prepare for their characters, right?

From the trailers I honestly dislike the voice of the new Joker and the character seems more like a normal gangster rather than how the comic books seem to display him, a crazy unpredictable gangster.

I really like Harley Quinn and Katana.

The rest suck, I expected more from Enchantress, but my opinion may change when it finally releases.
