There hasn't been a new thread in a few days so here's one! For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, summer break may have begun or is starting soon! What are your plans for this summer? Vacation? Work? Summer school? Nothing? Tell us all

My summer break started two weeks ago, and this summer I'm working two jobs! They both have one or two meetings a week (that happen to fall on the same days) and are work from home the rest of the time. Sometimes it can be hectic to get the hours done for both but I'm managing and I do like both jobs!

At the very end of August I'll be going away for a couple of days so looking forward to that!

I don’t get a break from classes and stuff, lmao. I’m going to spend all summer doing classes for university and an internship as well. I’m also going to resume my martial arts. :lemon:

I live in Europe and my summer break isn't happening THAT soon kgjdflk
School will be over early July if I remember correctly.
But before this is a huge exam cuz well... that's my last year of high school so that's kinda like graduation basically.
But after that I'll be free! Forever omg, no more school! Not even uni as.. ew literally couldn't even engage myself in more school years.
So I guess I'll be resting a lot during this summer break! And when it'll be over I shall apply to some jobs and start doing Voice Acting auditions!

Same as what I already do, go to work. I don't have much free time as I used to, so going out and about is much more limited. I might take a few day-cations here and there, maybe shop on my days off.

I'm working one day each week, except for my make up shifts while I'm away in England. (I fly out on Friday and will be there for three weeks) Since I work for the government, it's easier for me to make my hours up and just continue my pay as normal.

Working 9-5 M-F & taking some classes so I can graduate from college next spring. Not much else.

I'm so excited for this summer! Got my first paid internship so I'll be working this summer and taking 3 online classes. Hopefully I'll be able to fit in streaming into my schedule, but this summer is going to be super busy for me! Also going to an anime convention in 2 weeks! cx

definitely gonna work more hours at my job, right now i'm only at 8 a week. it kinda sucks though because the most i'm allowed to have is 13.5. : p other than that i'm just gonna enjoy my free time before i start college

I live in Minnesota in the U.S. and I?m just hoping to actually camp in some warm weather and go traveling! It?s supposed to be spring but we just had a big snowstorm last week and we keep having them!

I just got back from my summer vacation yesterday, so now I’m working! I’ll also be starting a program to get certified as a medical laboratory scientist in June.

There’s a lot of stuff I’d like to do this year— like go to the water park or the pool, go to the county fair, stuff like that! Idk why, even though I don’t really have much of a summer break this year I’m feeling pretty hyped.

im honestly soooo excited for summer. im so done with school, its gotten to the point where i can barely turn in things on time bc of how exhausted i am. i plan to do art fight this year, its a website online that has an event every july where you can draw other people's characters to get points for your team.

Well, since I'll have no school, I plan to just stay indoors and watch a ton of anime and play video games. Maybe go to the beach every once in awhile. Nothing too exciting, but I honestly kind of dislike summer aside from getting a break from school. It's too damn hot, and I live in a coastal tourist trap, so dumb travelers will be all over the place.

Unfortunately, I've been out of school for years and work a full time job, so summer is just like the rest of the year for me. I'll go to work everday and take vacation time whenever I'm able. I don't travel much, or technically not at all since I adopted a rescue dog with separation anxiety, so every vacation is a stay-cation, but that's fine with me. I get too much anxiety myself about traveling. But hopefully I'll be able to take some time off while the weather's nice and enjoy taking my dog for walks.

I hope everyone whose getting out of school has a nice summer break, whatever your plans are.

doing summer school in july, hopefully apply for a job too? if not at the very least i'll try to do some volunteering aha

i also really want to get into doing traditional art more often! hoping to go out with some friends and paint every so often

It's still a few weeks until summer break in my uni but I'm excited to go home and see my dogs!!! And maybe just chill for a bit before going back for summer classes huhu but at least there's the Possibility of taking a pottery workshop if i find the details before the deadline for registration? And maybe if there's extra time i can volunteer at one of the local animal shelters! Maybe. For the most part I'm just excited to finish this semester because it feels like it's been going on for so long? Also good luck with your jobs my dude let's get this bread

I?ll be going to my best friend?s wedding and then house sitting for them and their pets while they go on their honeymoon, haha. Other than that, work.
