It's mostly a way for fairness from early games, so that a blue role can actually have a chance to use their role instead of being blocked fifty nights in a row.
Why should anyone protect you, scumlord?
If Cory is a doctor & he protects Trundle in spite of him being a mafia is that like.. I don't wanna sound like an angry TOS player, "gamethrowing"?
Like if cory actually thinks trundle is town (really doubtable) then I guess not but if it's for the sole purpose of "I don't care let's let teh mafia win thats why I didn't vote for him in the lynch" mindset can something happen?

I think you're forgetting that I literally was the first person to sus the godfather of the mafia team for crying out loud. While you sat back and pushed for Luca or Daniel or something stupid like that. I only stepped up to push for Daniel Day 2 because no one else was doing anything.
