I tried it on both and prefer Switch Lite. It doesn’t have rumble but imo the Switch Lite is the more refined system, like the DS Lite was, or the new 3DS was to the old sandwich layers 3DS. It just feels so much nicer to hold, everything is smooth with no parts or seams digging into your hand, and it has a pleasant grippy texture. It’s also the perfect size for playing in bed on your side, and it’s so easily transportable in a pocket or a purse. It’s just a wonderful system!
Switch. I didn't want a Switch Lite because I wanted the ability to play docked. Switch Lites are way easier to find I've noticed though, so I had to actually drive to another town to buy a regular Switch a few weeks ago.
I was set on a Switch lite but then I found a bundle with the normal switch + mario kart for the same price as a switch by itself and bought that... I'm glad I did! Playing on the TV it's really nice especially when I have to craft all those damn baits! It's much easier to just spam A if I don't hold the switch handheld.
Me too! Normally I'd never pick yellow but I really like this yellow.
I was tempted to get the ACNH Switch but I procrastinated and the preorders sold out and I refuse to pay what the resellers have jacked the prices up to. I debated a non-ACNH Switch, but I don't anticipate doing a lot of local multiplayer. I also very much prefer handheld to playing on a TV.
After I got my Lite my roommate and I compared and the regular Switch is heavy! Really glad I got the Lite--if I can ever leave my house again, it will be much easier to bring with me on the go.
I used to own the grey OG switch until I lost it while travelling last year. Then waited for an ACNH Switch to come out (I KNEW there was gonna be one!)
Didn't even care if it's the regular or lite model as long as it's the special edition lol. They both have their pros and cons
I got a switch lite because it was not only cheaper but was also on sale when pokemon came out. so far I havent had any problems with it and it's a good console if you used to enjoy the nintendo DS... also I probably wouldnt have the table space for the OG switch so I keep mine in my day to day bag.
I play on a Switch but since I play mostly on handheld, I probably would've gone for a Switch Lite at some point. But, selling the Switch would've been a hassle and since there's no cloud transfer, I'm sticking with it. But Switch Lite is so cute and practical!
Switch Lite, which I bought secondhand just so I could play this game. I did want to try and get a regular Switch at first but I can't really afford that atm so I ended up going for the Lite, but I absolutely love it!
I already have the OG switch but I bought a switch lite just for animal crossing since I know it's the kind of game that I prefer playing in bed, which the og switch is too bulky for.
If you can afford the extra $100, or even save a little longer for it, I'd do it, unless you have absolutely no interest in docking, or using capture cards. You may experience regret over the next few years for not saving a little longer if you do.
i play on a OG switch that i bought in 2018
i mostly play ac handheld so if you're thinking about only playing ac a switch lite is fine...
but some other games for the switch that i like (zelda BOTW, mario odyssey, mario kart, smash bros) work better on the tv. so if you're thinking about playing other games too, maybe you should consider the switch
