Switch Year in Review 2021

So Nintendo released their Switch Year in Review today, which can be gotten here. Feel free to post what your stats are for this year!

Kinda interesting how NH accounted for 92.8% of my Switch hours last year, and even though I played it less this year, it still managed to get a majority of my time (57.4%) this year as well. Also not surprised by the lower activity from June to September, since I wasn't playing New Horizons that much during my daily playthroughs and not playing any other Switch games (aside from Smash during the TBT Neighbourly sessions) during that time.

Last year was the first year I had gotten my switch, so I only had it for around 7 days before the year ended, but I'm still surprised I clocked in 17 hours on my switch before the year ended. The months make sense, I was in online school for the first few and then I went back in person for summer school and wasn't able to play as much.

My top games were Splatoon 2 (517 hours), Stardew Valley (402 hours), and Animal Crossing New Horizons (369 hours) - not surprised about Splatoon but didn’t realise how much SDV I played. Now I remember I was completely obsessed with the update. But compared to last year’s most played game… ACNH with 1727 hours LMAO. Pandemic times.

My most active months were Jan (285) and Feb (272). Apparently I played SDV for 17 hours on the 14th of Jan.

My play time progressively lessened after Feb, makes sense because that’s when I started my current job.

lol not worth seeing my stats, tbh. I almost haven't touched my Switch this year. Probably the only time was when I played a single rotation of Salmon Run last January (around 5 hours or so), then another time when I randomly checked my island and that was before the November update (around less than an hour). In the end, I only have less than 10 hours of usage the whole year haha.

Felt like I was on my girlfriend's Switch a lot more when I was doing island hopping for new villagers. That happened last month.

The only Switch game I played at all was New Horizons. The Switch was actually my dad’s, and I just played New Horizons on it. He played other games. I played a lot earlier this year but fell off a bit later in the year. Still, I had quite a bit of time invested in New Horizons. It’s interesting to see everyone else’s playtime.

I don't understand how these are so inaccurate. I've played Monster Hunter Rise for at least 500 hours and I'm currently at about 50 hours on Xenoblade.

This is so cool! Thanks for showing us where to get these stats. My stats are:

• 402 hours of play (including 359 hours of Animal Crossing). I didn't touch my Switch between August - October, so I guess that is not too crazy?
• The most I played in one day was 7 hours -- almost a day's work, yikes.

Late but here is mine! You can see I clearly got my Switch for ACNH but then didn't even play that much compared to most people here haha

Also, I did have a Japanese game I played (and streamed), a Crayon Shin-chan game, but I suppose since I had to buy it on my other Switch account it didn't show up.

Idk how I managed it but apparently I logged 24 hours in minecraft on June 14th last year. I remember none of this clearly hard core gaming session.
