Idk what average is but I'm 5'3". Most other girls are taller than me here, and many people tower over me (like my trombone teacher, who is like 6'1" lol).

I'm short at about 5'1". I can't reach anything on the upper shelves at stores or even at home. I have to keep a step-stool handy for grabbing things out of the cabinets. I also can't see over the steering wheel in some cars. It's pretty annoying.
