I've been wandering around my town each day now when Tarantulas appear(7pm to 4am) for HOURS and I still haven't seen the tarantula...
What do I have to do to make it appear? Does it appear on grass or dirt? Both? Near flowers? Near the ocean? Near buildings?

Not looking for them means not having your bug net out. I have caught 2 of each. You need to make sure the bug net is not out or they will come and bite you. Get about 5-10 spaces away from them and then pull your net out. I find it easier to be directly above them when I pull out the net. Then at the right time you swing the net. It is very similar to catching the bees. But instead of shaking the tree to make them come after you, you just pull out your net.
I've seen about 5 and not caught a single one, I can't get the timing down, so I tried catching one from a cliff. The *censored.5.0* jumped up like 5 feet and bit me X( THEY ARE TOO *censored.3.0*ING HARD TO CATCH!
THIS GAME IS FOR KIDS!? I'M 17 and I'm struggling so how the *censored.3.0* do you expect a 6 year old to do this. Also, why are they so rare AND sooooo hard to catch, it makes it even more annoying when I don't catch it! AHHHRGH!
