Tarantulas only come after 7PM and they are around until 4 AM. They do not appear with open gates.

I saw both. The scorpion hid behind a tree until I swung my net, then it stung me =( Then the tarantula couldn't take life and jumped in the river.

I spotted a scorpion at the corner of my screen when I was playing a couple of weeks ago, but when I approached that area, net in hand, it had vanished... Then I spent a whole night trying to catch this tarantula that pounced on me and made me black out like 3 times in a row. It reminds me of Aragog (Harry Potter) or Shelob (The Lord of the Rings) when it does that... Anyway, point is that I've still never caught either of them.

How does anyone even have a gold net or gold rod yet? The game hasn't even been out a year, so nobody should have been able to catch the bugs and fish that appear for each month...

Yeah, agreed. I voted 1,000 times total for Adam. But I've learned after Chris Daughtry and Blake Lewis also lost to mediocre singers that Idol is not without its disappointments. I still enjoy watching it to hear great voices and watch great performers like Mr. Lambert.
