BOOMER IN BOXES
latest

"Yay! Thanks for coming to celebrate my birthday!"

? Boomer, during his birthday, in Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Boomer (ショーイ, Shoi) is a lazy penguin villager who first appears in Dōbutsu no Mori + as an islander. He was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World, but reappears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. His name most likely comes from a character of the same name in Battlestar Galactica, who was also a pilot; more evidence towards this is how his room is space-themed in New Leaf. His initial catchphrase is a reference to the player character, who is one of four humans who can exist inside the town at one time.

Appearance

Boomer wears an aviator's hat and goggles. As an islander, his initial shirt is the blue aloha shirt. His eyes are small, black rectangles. His main body color is olive green, while his flippers and belly are white, and his beak and legs are yellow. When it rains he carries the Camo Umbrella.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
As a lazy villager, he will enjoy napping and talking about food, as well as appearing calm and relaxed through most circumstances. Like all villagers, he will enjoy the usual hobbies. When he talks about clothes, he may mention his alter ego, "Fashion Lad", a made-up hero by lazy villagers who tackle fashion disasters. Snooty and jock villagers will find it difficult to get along with him, due to his relaxed lifestyle, which may cause offense to these villagers. Overall, he will get along well with other villagers in the town.

Fruit Allergy

As an islander, Boomer has a favorite fruit and a fruit that he is allergic to. Feeding him the allergic fruit will reduce the likelihood of him dropping money bags. Boomer is allergic to cherries and loves pears.

House

Boomer's house has an island feel, and he uses the Tropical Floor and the Western Vista as his choice of wallpaper and flooring. He will also have Aloha K.K. playing on a Stereo when he acquires one.

In New Leaf, his house has received a makeover, and now uses the sky wall paired with plank flooring in a space pilot theme. He retains Aloha K.K. as his music, and has a reel-to-reel in the corner that plays it. Inside his home are a captain's monitor; one regular, two small, and two large space consoles, and two space captain's seats.

Trivia

Boomer is one of the few villagers who wear accessories.

"Whaaat?! You opened it? But I spent all that time wrapping it."

— Beau, after opening his gift for another villager., Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Beau (ぺーター, Pētā) is a lazy deer villager that appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His name is a masculine word means 'beautiful' or 'handsome' in French, and is pronounced 'Bow'. His initial phrase refers to a salt block, which some people use to attract deer. Beau is very similar to an antelope, which are deer-like animals that are common in Africa and Eurasia.

He appears on the album cover of Mr. K.K..

Appearance

Beau has the appearance of either an impala or a kob, both species of antelope. He has an orange/ginger coat with a white snout. His ears are black-tipped, he has black hooves, and light brown striped antlers. He also has white circles surrounding his eyes with peach colored eyelids. He initially wears the Deer Tee.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Beau will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food. He will get along well with other villager types such as the normal and peppy villagers. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice.

House

Beau has Mountain Song playing on his Tape Deck. He also has a tree standee and two mountain standees, giving it an outdoorsy feel. His home also includes a bird cage, a picnic table, a hammock, and a dog house.
