KABUKI IN BOXES, Current high bid is 100 TBT

latest

Kabuki (かぶきち,, Kabukichi?) is a cranky cat villager who has appeared in all Animal Crossing series games. He is named after the traditional Japanese theater style of the same name, from which he also gets his ornate red patterning. His initial phrase, "meooo-OH", is a play on the word "meow", the sound a cat makes, and the typical sound a Kabuki actor makes during their Mie pose. He is also the only cat with a cranky personality in Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Appearance

Kabuki is a white cat with red stripes and yellow eyes. The markings on his face resemble different types of Kabuki make-up. His eyes have black and blue pupils. It is noticable that Kabuki has teeth in Animal Crossing, but lacks them in the subsequent games. Kabuki has a black mouth and eyebrows. His ears are reddish-pink inside. In Animal Crossing, Kabuki wears a Lavender Robe and in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, a Misty Shirt.

Personality

Kabuki is a cranky villager, which means he will sometimes appear stubborn and easily annoyed when things are not going his way. He will appear rude and belittling towards other villagers, including the player, but will eventually warm up to them, considering them his only friend. His personality is actually quite unpredictable in this way. He will find the usual hobbies of fishing and bug-catching considerably more interesting compared to other villager types, adding more reason behind the hobbies than other villagers, and considering fossil-hunting and furniture-collecting to be "unimportant". He will get along with other cranky villagers and snooty villagers, who share the same interests and meaningful discussions. He will often suggest planting false information on peppy and normal villagers when no interesting events are happening in the town.

House

In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: Wild World, Kabuki's house has a Japanese Theme including many items from the Japanese set. He has the Giant Dharma, Japanese Drum, a Tall Oombloid, and a couple of other items. His floor is a Planked Tatami (or Tatami Floor in Animal Crossing: Wild World) from Saharah and his walls are the Shoji Screen. He listens to K.K. Folk on a Reel-to-Reel. His house is a similar in design to Pekoe or Genji's homes, who are also Japanese-stylized villagers.

In NL, Kabuki's house starts with a black katana, hearth, screen, go board, retro tv, mochi pestle, blue kotatsu, Reel-to-Reel, plum bonsai, screen, Modern Screen, and Tatami Floor.

MITZI IN BOXES, Starting bid is 50 TBT

latest

Mitzi (マール,, Maru?) is a normal cat villager in the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every game to date, and appeared on the cover of Animal Crossing, standing in the upper window on the side with Punchy. She also appeared in a screenshot on the back of the Animal Crossing: City Folk case. Her name, "Mitzi," may refer to her paws which look like they have mittens on them. The name Mitzi is also a generic name for cats in Hebrew.

Appearance

Mitzi, like Olivia, is a point colored cat. But Mitzi is a blue point with a dark blue muzzle and tail, tipped ears and tipped paws, like a Siamese cat. The inside of her ears are tangerine orange, which match with the Gumdrop shirt/tee she wears in the Wild World, City Folk and New Leaf games, however she initially wears a Patchwork shirt in Animal Crossing, which also has a bit of orange on it. On rainy days, Mitzi carries the Melon Umbrella, which is gingham print in white and light green.

Personality

Mitzi is a kind and calm character like all normal villagers. This makes it very easy to get her picture. She will easily become upset or offended by other villagers, particularly snooty villagers who mislead her and cranky villagers who have a rude and scheming nature. She enjoys the usual hobbies, such as; fishing and bug catching, usually to keep her active. As with all other villagers, she will enjoy the player's company at her house where she may tell the player to "ignore the mess" - a concern she shares with other normal villagers. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, she will talk about an unseen character called Moppina, an imaginary friend which reflects on the normal personality type hygiene and cleanliness concerns. She will get along well with other normal villagers and peppy, jock, lazy villagers, appearing mother-like in conversation.

House

In Animal Crossing, Mitzi has a rather sparse, unorganized house, which includes two Gargloids, a Blue bed and a Cabana bookcase. She also has two potted plants and has K.K. Swing playing on her Red Boombox. She has a Kitchen Wall and a Ranch Flooring.
