ROALD IN BOXES

latest

Roald (ペンタ,, Penta?) is a jock penguin villager from the Animal Crossing series. He has appeared in every game so far. Roald's name could possibly come from Roald Amundsen, the first person to reach the South Pole, the natural habitat of penguins.

Appearance

Roald is a dark, navy blue Adelie Penguin, who is initially wearing a red and white checked Cafe Shirt. His eyes are laid-back in a half-closed position. He has a stomach that is white and a beak, as every penguin has, that is yellow-orange. His feet are the same color, too, and his wings are the same color as his back.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the jock personality.

At first, you might not see it, but Roald has a jock personality. You might not see it in him at first due to the fact that he is a penguin and has a Kiddie-themed room what makes him childish, and he has half-closed eyes (which make him look like like a lazy villager). So do not judge him at his first appearance - talk to him and you will see that he is really into sports. He claims to be the strongest villager in the town and goes waaaay overboard when it comes to fitness and muscles, much to the dismay of normal villagers who appear motherly towards him. Sometimes snooty villagers will ask him to move their house as a tease. He obviously does not, though. Roald is an active villager, so he is rarely inside his house, and never seems to get ill (like most of jock villagers). He often challenges the player to bug catching contests, and is interested in fossils and clothes. He's very friendly. Roald also enjoys a mocha with lots of milk and three spoonfuls of sugar.

House

In Animal Crossing: City Folk and most likely others, his house mainly contains items from both the Kiddie Series and Space Theme. He has K.K. Parade playing on his robo-stereo. He has the kiddie clock, satellite, rocket, space shuttle, telescope, bowling pins, super toilet, and a train set. He has the playroom wall and kiddie carpet.

TANGY IN BOXES

latest

Tangy (ヒャクパー,, Hyakupā?) is a peppy cat villager that appears in every game of the Animal Crossing series. Her name comes after her appearance, which is similar to the citrus fruit, tangerine, and it's taste. Her Japanese name is a contraction of "100% Percent" and refers to juice concentrate. She appears on the album cover for K.K. Birthday.

Appearance

Tangy is a cat with the appearance of an orange, complete with a small green leaf on her head. Her perky but chipper ears stand tall, and are pink inside. Although her arms and legs appear to be smooth, her face seems rather pitted, giving her more of the appearance of an orange. She wears a blue bar shirt initially that is horizontally striped blue and white.

Personality

As a peppy villager, Tangy will always appear to be in a good mood. She is easy to become friends with, because of her peppy personality. She will get along with other villagers including the player, making it easy to befriend her and gain her picture. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing Series. She will get on well with normal, lazy, jock and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality.

House

Her house has a citrus theme, which relates to her appearance. She has a pineapple bed, orange chair, lemon table, pear wardrobe, apple clock, pear dresser, watermelon table, and a lime chair. She uses the citrus wall and carpet. She has a Kiddie Stereo which plays Se?or K.K.. Her house remains almost relatively unchanged throughout the entire series.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, her house has the same citrus theme except for a some new additions. She has K.K. Island playing on a high-end stereo, a cabana dresser, cabana bookcase, ukulele, apple tv, sunflowers, and a Huge Dekkoid.

BENJAMIN IN BOXES

Benjamin.png

Benjamin (ハチ,, Hachi?) is a lazy dog villager who first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His Japanese name could be a reference to the story of Hachikō, sometimes referred to as Hachi, or the Japanese name for the bee (Hachi (ハチ)). He appears on the album cover for K.K. March.

Appearance

Benjamin is a yellow and white labrador with very thick, black, eyebrows. He also has white whiskers and a big brown button nose with a white tail. He looks similar to Champagne, another dog villager.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, he will enjoy napping and talking about food, as well as appearing calm and relaxed through most circumstances. Like other lazy villagers, he will share the same interests such as clothes, fishing, bug catching, and fossil hunting. Snooty and cranky villagers will find it difficult to get along with him, due to his relaxed lifestyle which may cause offense to these villagers. He also may offend jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness. He will get along with all other villagers in the town. He gets along easily with the player.

House

Benjamin has Wandering playing on his stereo. He has most pieces from the Sloppy Series. He has the Common Flooring and Paw-Print Wallpaper.

JULIAN IN BOXES

latest

Julian (ジュリー,, Julie?) is a smug horse in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, who is resembles a unicorn, due to the horn on his head. It is possible his name comes from "Julius", of Julius Caesar, who claimed to be related to the Roman goddess Venus, reflecting Julian's astronomy theme. The feminine form of the name was likely given in the Japanese version to emphasize Julian's feminine appearance.

Appearance

Julian is a blue and white horse with a slightly darker blue mane and tail, and a white horn, which resembles a unicorn. He has black hooves, wears purple eyeshadow and has long, black eyelashes. His eyes are normally closed, but when he opens them they appear white without a pupil. He may easily be mistaken for a female due to his appearance.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here.
Julian has a smug personality. This means he will appear kind and gentlemanly when in conversation with the player. On numerous occasions, he will flirt with the player and admire them. Julian will occasionally talk about being into niche hobbies, like being a train fanatic or collecting plastic bottle caps. He will be very interested in fashion and will mention it often in conversations and letters. He is also very fond of bluegrass music, a trait which is shared by Shigeru Miyamoto.

House

Julian owns a lot of pieces from the Regal Series, such as the Regal Bed, Regal Sofa, Regal Bookcase, Regal Vanity and more. He also has other furniture such as a king and a harp. He also has a star globe. His flooring is the Blue Floor, and his wall is the Lunar Horizon. He has a Retro Stereo that plays Stale Cupcakes.

HOPPER IN BOXES

latest

Hopper (ダルマン,, Dalman?) is a cranky penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series. He is a crested penguin, and named after the Rockhopper penguin, even while his design is based off a Macaroni Penguin (the two look quite similar to the untrained eye. However, they're both crested penguins). He also appeared in Dōbutsu no Mori. Hopper is the only penguin with a cranky personality. He has appeared in all games of the Animal Crossing series.

Appearance

Hopper is a black and white crested penguin with a yellow beak, red eyes, and long, straw-like eyebrows (like the Rockhopper Penguin) which give him a somewhat angry or grumpy expression. He initially wears a Dragon Shirt. His eyebrows are similar to Mathilda's.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.

As a cranky villager, Hopper will appear mature compared to other personality types. This will make him appear belittling and insensitive to other villagers, including the player. Despite this, he will learn to confide in the player, considering them his only friend.
He will enjoy the usual hobbies, but appreciates relaxation and peace over competition. He will find it difficult to socialize with peppy and normal villagers, whom he will criticize when talking to other villagers. He will get along with lazy and snooty villagers, as well as other cranky villagers, whom he will share deeper conversations with. He will, on occasion, annoy a normal villager, usually when being mean about something or someone.

House

In Animal Crossing, Hopper's house starts with Cabin Series furniture in it. He also starts with four totem poles and some more random items like barrels. Hopper starts with three gyroids: A Tall Droploid, Tall Gongoid, and Mega Timpanoid. When he has a stereo, he will play Lucky K.K. on it.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, his house remains practically unchanged from Animal Crossing.

BISKIT IN BOXES

latest

Biskit (ロビン,, Robin?) is a lazy dog villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name may be a reference to dog biscuits, a certain type of treat for dogs. His catchphrase "dawg," relates to his species, a dog, through a slang word. He appears on the album cover for King K.K.

Appearance

Biskit is an orange dog with a green striped tail and ears. His eyes are big and white with no pupils. However, when Biskit makes a shocked emotion in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he is seen with small, dark brown squared pupils. He has a black nose and mouth. Biskit appears to have no teeth. Originally, he wears a Deep Blue Tee. He also wears a Mod Shirt in Animal Crossing for GameCube. Biskit appears to look like a Viszla, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, or a Boerboel.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Biskit has a laid back lifestyle. His main hobbies will involve food and napping, and he will often talk about this to the player. He may mention how sleepy he is, or how he would enjoy a particular type of food, for example. He will appear friendly and hospitable towards the player, enjoying their company. He will sometimes talk about his dream to be a superhero, and sometimes portrays himself as one called "Fashion Lad." He is quite honest and is on the opposite of the cranky villager appearing humble and calm and as well as peaceful. He might confuse jocks, who have a keen interest in exercise, though jocks are open about others.

House

Biskit's house has a specific country theme towards it, most of the furniture is from the Cabin Series and the Ranch Series including 2 Gyroids, the Mega Bovoid and the Mini Tootoid. The Wallpaper is the Shed Wall and the Flooring is the Cabana Flooring. K.K. Mambo is played on a High end Stereo.
