I'm kinda late, but congratulations to @/BetsySundrop, @/Xara, and @/Halloqueen! I'm glad a few more people participated in this little giveaway when the deadline was getting close because it was pretty quiet at the start.

Playing Among Us with you guys is something I always look forward to during the weekends and I appreciate the friendly environment immensely. And some banter in between haha. It helps me to unwind for the evening since I work on Saturdays and Sundays (yeah, I work through the entire weekend rip). At first, I associated the game with the covid pandemic when it blew up in popularity during that time. However, ever since 2024 TBTWC and @/Dunquixote hosting multiples of sessions (let's not also forget @/Bruscoe who hosted a session once!), I find myself associating Among Us with TBT more and more as time goes on. Like I said, I appreciate the friendly environment and that's what helped solidify it.

I’m so happy it helps you unwind! I’m really glad that you’ve been joining us . I really appreciate when you speak up about changing up the settings or doing a different mode. Sorry my response sometimes seem off! I forget how blunt you are so I’m always caught off guard when you do . If you or anyone ever feel like the sessions could be improved more, please let me know . I want to make sure they continue being a fun and friendly environment for everyone.

Everyone is always welcome to request a change in modes or settings too; I try to decide usually based on if everyone else is okay with trying what is asked. Still, don’t hesitate to suggest something

I am super sorry for the very short notice, but I just wanted to inform you all that Dun's internet went out last night and it appears that it still hasn't come back on, so tonight's session will have to be canceled unless someone else wants to take over hosting duties!! Yep, I took over hosting duties for the evening like Betsy mentioned. We mostly played Hide and Seek, but were able to play a few matches of Classic once enough people joined.

Alas, it’s more fun when Dun is involved. Hopefully her internet issue is resolved soon — It’s always a pain when a service outage lasts more than a few hours.

Ty dun! You are a fanatic host! I'm flexible on everything, even if i end up as an uncontrollably poofing phantom every game.

I mean, practice makes better, and with enough practice, I'd eventually be able to really kill in that role. Heheh

Thanks Betsy . You’ve improved so much in such a small time period, I think you’ll get there. Regardless, I still think you do awesome as imp .

Any thoughts on the ladder strategy during hide and seek?

I personally enjoy the strategy as crew, while as imposter it does frustrate me a little but I still have fun. I’d like to know more of everyone’s thoughts on the strategy.

Please know I’m not trying to put anyone on the spot. I’m just trying to figure out how to make the games more enjoyable.

I don't see it as anything that ruins the game, imo. I think it's just how the game is for now, no big deal. Airship might be lucky for crew with ladders, but skeld is really lucky map for imp. Fungle is terrible for imp, but mira hq is pretty great as imp. Just luck which one you get. Celebrate the good luck when you have it, eh?

Yup! Ladder lag happens fairly often for me .

Same! Still, just figured I’d ask how everyone felt since I do realize it can be frustrating as imp when there is no ladder lag. Depending on how everyone else feels, maybe skip airship on hide and seek temporarily? Idk. I want to be fair to everyone while being considerate too of what we all may not like.

I can try limiting crew vision more next session if we play hide and seek; I honestly haven’t really touched the vision settings much! I can turn off the names too.

I know a few times the names have given people away to me as imp, though I’m not sure if it was classic or hide and seek.

Ladder tag can definitely be funny as crew not so much as imp . But still kinda funny.

The vision on imp in hide and seek is what gets me. I rarely see anyone lol. Even if they are right next to me.

Spoiler: I thought of you all at work today

Today was a bit stressful and crazy busy at work. Close to when I was to go home I walked into the back room. I didn’t hear the beginning of the conversation all I heard was one coworker telling the other how much Simon sucks and the other agreeing and all I could think of was among us and how much fun it is to play with you . Turned my mood around pretty quickly and all I could do was laugh. I know it’s silly but I found it funny.
