I hear aug 16th?? There will be a tbr fair... where there will be tbt collectibles for sale!! I was just wondering and wanted to know more about the fair and also how to make tbts in general? Thanks :)

Hi, new to this myself but if you join in conversation, ask questions and maybe sell things.

Interested in the tbt fair myself but don’t have a lot πŸ˜”

The best way seems to be... by posting and chatting. I currently have 1800+ TBT (not counting the amounts I've spent) and it's purely for chatting in these forums. Also, entering the contests when they pop up (like the current cafe one- your entry doesn't have to be amazing, if it's accepted you get TBT).

You can also try selling items/villagers in-game. I recently paid 200 TBT for Sherb!

I didn’t realise u got tbt for entry πŸ™ˆ hate being judged

Hey there! This year will be my first TBT Fair so I can't give you advice on that but as far as making TBT, here are some ideas:

-Sell your collectibles that are worth a good penny
-Get active on the forum and chat with people
-Sell Animal Crossing items and/or services

the fair is two weeks or so of special events/games that you can win special currency from (usually tickets) to purchase prizes with. in the past, it's only been tickets used to purchase collectibles and other prizes, so you likely won't need to earn lots of tbt or it would be hella unfair for those without tons of bells.

I think it was 75 TBT for the last one? And sometimes you get collectibles for entering (if you enter both or win either) which I'm guessing could be sold for a decent price!

For a second I thought you said "those of us without tons of bells" and I was like "ohmygosh what counts as a ton of bells" πŸ˜‚

I should enter. No one would be horrible ?

The staff team are the judges and we aim to be professional.

If anyone is mean to you just report their post and we'll take care of it.
I was gonna say- I don't think anyone would be mean! And if they were, I didn't think staff would allow it. I haven't seen any trouble yet. If anything, I like seeing myself earn some "likes"... even if it's not many πŸ˜…

Thanks, everyone I have met has been so lovely. Just me 😊

I just wanted to add as there seems to be some confusion - the mini events we have going on right now are completely separate from the TBT Fair. These mini events that we occasionally run do typically award TBT Bells for participation, but as Crash and Vrisnem stated, the Fair has its own currency and we usually release an extra special series of collectibles that corresponds with the theme.

It's usually quite the party! I've been over here dreaming about it for weeks. ;)

So its not run with tbts at all but a seperate currency?

The Bell Tree Fair has it's own currency so everyone will be on a level playing field when it comes to purchasing prizes. It's like going to a real fair or arcade and only being able to buy prizes with tickets you earned in their games. :)
Oh good because i just spent all my tbts hehe

Yes, you'll earn a special currency during the fair and there will be a dedicated shop where you can buy all the new goodies. You don't need any TBT Bells at all to participate. :)

Fairs usually have a 3-4 week duration, but you'll have to wait for our official announcement to see the exact schedule and all we have planned this time around!
