I'll answer the RQS:
a) What is your time zone? Central European Time. This means that for the most part the days will end an hour or two before I wake up in the mornings and I will always have a lot of things to catch up on from those "heated hours".
b) You're shown a red button, a blue button, a pink button, and a yellow button. Which one do you click? I wouldn't click a random button that I have no idea what it is connected with just because someone told me to.
c) How much mafia experience do you have? Played on-and-off for years, mostly on forums and IRC/Chatrooms. Even played some games in real life when I was younger.
d) What is your avatar from? It's a bunny inside of a lemon that a friend of mine drew for me. He's a kitten inside of a peach.
e) Someone dares you to jump a 2 meter gap with a 20 meter drop for $20, do you do it? No. I do not mind taking calculated risks but wouldn't do so because someone "dared" me. Also, 20 dollars is pretty insignificant, a 20 meter drop is not.
I do not care at all about pronouns, but I'm a guy.
I spent some time thinking it over and I doubt Sataric's play is anything other than protown. (There isn't any real reward for scamming people out of their initial funds to lose a team member, even if they had a team set up that wouldn't lose a kp from 1 mafia death.)
That being said, Sataric, anyone that has funds to transfer is automatically not the King. Are you sure demonstrating to the mafia a reasonable number of non-kings is wise? Granted, I do think some amount of won should be pooled to take advantage of that ticket, but I don't think everyone that has won available should give it to you. I like this compromise since we get use out of your ticket, but we don't give too much information to the mafia.
I would also advise any doctor-style role to be on Sataric during the night, since killing him would remove a good amount of the won that's in the game currently. (Assuming he's town, of course.)
The set-up for this game is "more or less" closed, but it's possible that every single person except the Eternal President is able to gain
won in some way, so a lot of it may end up in circulation over time. From
Dolby's opening post, it says: "Players automatically accumulate currency,
won, every day. They may use
won to buy items on The Black Market. The amount of
won, or even if they gain
won at all, varies."
However, you are absolutely right - If too many players transfer their currency, perhaps we'd be doing scum a noteworthy favour by showing a bunch of players to be "non-kings". I actually didn't consider that properly and think it is a big risk to take this early on in the game. The Eternal President must reign supreme!
Maybe we should hold off on this idea entirely until we actually know what's for sale in the black market and how much
won would be necessary to transfer in order to purchase the best stuff. Then we could make a much more calculated and educated decision and figure out if it'd be worth the risk or not. The downside is that with this being a 48 hour day, and then a 24 hour night, my coupon will expire on day 2 and we'd potentially have to really scramble to get the funds transferred in time. Still, I think that may be the wiser option, as it feels like less of a gamble overall.
