ok SO this is the thing. vote log actually CLEARS PUNCHY LOLKjdklgjdfl man i dunno if i even wanna share this because part of me still feels really uneasy about punchy
ITS IMPORTANT TO NOTE WE DID NOT HAVE AN ML WHEN SHAWO WAS LYNCHED
i wanted to see who would pick up my punchy push, and it seems that everyone did so... i don't know how much of an alignment tell that is?
punchy as mafia could have easily voted TAE at a point where locket was not gonna get lynched, because he townread shawo, which he actually even said. if hes mafia and he saw that town may be lynched, why would he afk from thread and leave his vote on a split vote, if he had the votes for a winning position? its weird idk.
at 4pm, if punchy/shawo/harbour are mafia together, they actually had majority on tae. because of trundle and locket. this means that if punchy is mafia he actually kinda gamethrew LOL. because harbour was present in THREAD THE WHOLE TIME, she was posting every few minutes and was also setting up a tae vote. why didn't harbour vote if her and punchy are mafia together, so they can reach majority to win the game?
punchys last post before the lynch was at 5:47 PST
which easily could have been used as justification for a flip off locket and onto tae. so why not do it.
shawo's post expresses genuine concern i think? which could go either way.
in the universe where punchy is mafia, he either straight up AFK'd from thread or just ignored voting logs that day phase, which is why i needed to know how many votes punchy was present for. i'm still working on a better interpretation here, mostly trying to parse punchy's reply, because this technically speaking IS plausible. but i need all your thoughts on it because i'm still digesting it as evan's vote was still a factor as well

I cut a lot of post there but my main concern is we don't really have any real way of telling if Punchy is telling the truth about not being present for the Shawo vote or any other vote. They might say they weren't, which could be a blatant lie and instead they were just lurking.
for the record, shawo isn't new to mafia he's played for years but is kinda "new" to forum mafia, especially in the context of the format on this site

well really that was more of a side thing but it is relevant
the key part about my post is not about whether or not he was present for the votes on shawo, but about whether or not he realised that he actually had a majority on tae (assuming he's mafia with harbour)

Another point in Punchy not flipping a vote to save a fellow mafia - much in the same way I saw one of your posts, glow, as being you saying "I'm giving up trying to defend my fellow mafia member", there was every possibility that Punchy saw Shawo's weird insistence on tae as a reckless idea and a lost cause, and decided it would be best to step away from that mess as so not to be thrown in with a "defending Shawo a.k.a Mafia" lot

I'll wait until 11pm. If Punchy can come and say something before then we'll see what happens. If not, I will be going to bed and I will be voting Punchy before I do. I'm sorry if you think that's a bad choice but I think Punchy is the worst of the lot rn and given the last two nights, I've learned to trust myself a lot more shrug

i want to sr trundle for coasting but i'm coasting so
locket hasn't improved at all since my initial sus of her tbh
i want to go locket over trundle by a million
i think i can live through this
glow can convince either locket/trundle or both
honestly they're both just so scummy it hurts

i'm not even confident in what my reads are, my reads have been almost all opposite the whole game. for all i know glow or dino might be scum and i'd have NO idea. i still dotn know who i feel more comfortable voting for

2) An early game interaction where oath liked one of his posts. There is no way oath would have risked liking his mafia teammates' posts.

the thing for me with the whole Trundle thing, is like why ? why would he even risk posting about any Wincon if he was mafia ? it just seems too risky. he thought the wincon was posted in the OP so he was pretty confident its also not just that that's sus its his whole behavior this game...
