Nono, I saw that. I just wanted to make sure that was your intention/you weren't going to give a different answer. See, voting like that comes off as trying to avoid modkill actively (rather than naturally being apart of the conversation and letting your vote fall where you think it belongs), so that's kind of scummy tbh. Glad you could clarify your stance though!

I haven't really read much from this game so far, but this post kinda seems weird to me. I'm pretty sure Kat was reaction testing for the vote.
I bolded what stuck out to me. It kinda reads scummy to me, although I'm not exactly sure. I feel like there is an underlying tone of a mafia trying to keep composed even though attention has been brought to them so early in the game for literally no reason.
I also think her answer to #2 was a bit indicative. If I read it assuming she is town, it heavily implies that she isn't a townie. She would have worded it differently, I believe, if she were a townie. That hints at blue or scum. Overall, I am going to place my vote on Beardo for the time being, just to show indication that I believe this person may be scum.

How did you choose this placeholder? It may not seem important, but out of everyone you went with Daniel. Whether you intended it to be or not, and just wanted to brush it off, it seems like a careless thing to do.
I thought it was more of an irrational accusation. What’s reaction testing? I mean, I have some guesses, but some confirmation would be nice. (Sorry for noob questions)
The 2nd question was referring to the fact that in every previous mafia game I've played, I was a townie with no night action, items, ect. It gets kinda dull, so having something to do would be nice. It has nothing to do with this game, though.

Panda:
She?s posting a lot, kinda too much. She has 43 posts and it?s around 24 hours into D1. That?s about half the amount of all of her posts combined in Papers, Please mafia. In Scummy Award Mafia, she had 31 posts in the entire thread. While she?s definitely moving the conversation along in some places, I do agree with Daniel about her needed to condense her posts. In other games, I felt like it was pretty easy to read her and she usually towntelled a lot in her posts... but I?m pretty unsure about her right now. Along with how much she?s posting, I feel her reactions are a bit weird to some things like this:
this is in response to Sarasa, who made a completely reasonable statement about how many posts that has made in this thread. IMO Panda took this completely out of it?s context. It?s not that Sarasa was asking for you to not post. She?s saying that by posting to much it?ll overwhelm the new players, and this is already happening (Soda Fox said that?s how they felt)

This reply rubs me the wrong way. She imples that she?s been talking to the less active players, but she?s been talking to Oath, Ness, Daniel, Sarasa, Alexi, and Dough for the most part. She did say something to Rune. So she says she?s having back and forth players with inactives, but the only person on that list that?s really been inactive is Dough, and I guess you can count Rune since she said a sentence to him.

Alexi is new and learning how to scumhunt still and it?s not like she?s just making random accusations, and it?s not like she?s been here the past couple games to understand how much Rune lurks. imo there was honestly no need for this sort of response
speaking of Rune- I?ll point out that Rune is off to a good start with 9 posts. That?s over half the amount compared to when he was SK in Scummy Mafia. He posted 19 times in Papers Please as mafia as mafia. I?m glad about this tbh, because otherwise I think I?d be pushing for a policy lynch on Rune lynch rn but I?m still not ruling out the possibility his scum team is forcing him to post this time to prevent this. But at least he?s contributing, so I?ll give him that for now lmao
I get where you?re coming from, but Lucanosa did explain his reasoning behind that ?placeholder vote?. I agree it?s pretty weird, but I mean if Lucanosa was scum would they really want to cause so much attention to themselves? Lucanosa isn?t known as the most active player ever, so really all he'd have to do is just lay low. The shift in his behavior is definitely worth noticing but, I mean why are you on Lucanosa's case for voting but not Sarasa's who voted two hours into the game?
as for the best person to lynch today, I?m not sure yet. There?s some people that still haven?t checked in at all since gamestart yet: Mother of all llamas, Iggy Koopa, Crys
and others that I want to hear more from: Beardo, Dolby, and Stardusk just to name a few. Especially Beardo, who has two votes right now. Sarasa voted for Beardo for not jumping into the game quickly. However she placed her vote about two hours into the game... and it doesn?t seem like she?s changing her vote? and then Trundle voted for Beardo because of her wording to the alignment, which is just literally nitpicking tbh. I find both of these reasons pretty weak and I've got a feeling scum is gonna jump on this bandwagon now that the chance is being opened up for them.
Ok I finally caught back up with the thread and I think it got a little hard to read, it felt like back and forth arguing to no point. I find one person scummy so far but I'm going to watch them to see if anything changes.

Thank you very much. The nitpicking and dissecting the tiny details of an insignificant post seems stupid. With the two votes on me without any reasonable evidence, Kat and Trundle seem a little suspicious. Scum might bandwagon, as m3ow said.

To be honest, it seems panda is trying too hard to seem town. She's posting way to much with little content, i even ignored some of her posts because they're so pointless and too many. It just seems to me like new scum trying to appear town.

The only reason I called out only Ness (and not Panda1376 as well) was because he was being waay too defensive (and not even for himself, for someone else! scum knows who else is scum.. why would an innocent defend another innocent?), especially when I actually DID accuse him of possible scum, it just seemed like a reaction scum would say.
