Or..would muliple mafia claim town but saying they are miller..but actually being mafia.

Why would the self-aware Miller claim Townie, though?
Both, or either one of them. It's pretty much being looked at in general.

How would you know if they are obvious, because all Truffle gets is how many there are, which does make it suspicious, but how would you find out which ones are lying or not? Question them? Kill of the townies?
By looking at their in-game behavior and comparing it to some of the other players claiming Townie. Killing all Townies is way too risky.
Inspect them maybe. But what about the ones who claim miller?

Something dangerous to consider with the role claim strategy:
Be careful with handing out the suspicious names easily when you do find a counter claim conflict. For example, if a Mafia claimed one of the blue roles, and then you named someone else that you thought was suspicious based on the conflict, the mafia would now know who is probably a blue!

As already said in the post, it's a fixed/open setup. We already know how many of each role are left. Alive means that there is only one of them, and they are alive.
I was being sarcastic.
So do you not agree that Harry should be a strong role? Or that I can be 100% trusted? Maybe you're not quite sure how important the role of HP is (especially since you're new) but I'm trying to understand where your head is at.
Why the **** would we lynch Harry Potter? I don't understand the logic of lynching a confirmed town member.
Yeah, I agree it's a good point. I won't be sharing with anybody the list Day 1 or Night 1 for sure. Once they can prove their role to me (most likely through actions) I will begin working with them a bit more. I'll be looking for definite proof of being town aligned. Sadly I won't be able to trust people as much as I did in Mafia VII.

which is also easy to see if you just count the roles?!?!
It means that there's only one of that role, and they are alive. The only duplicate role names in this game are Brave Wizard.
I do agree that you can be 100% trusted. Sorry about the confusion, like you said, I am new.

Yeah but if he just counted, and for example, there are two blue claimed as the same thing, then he could ask them to do a action, if one doesn't, then that one is mafia.
