Okay so in my opinion these are the players that are too likely to slide by to the end without even having to contribute much in the thread:

- FireNinja1
- Dolby
- Kuma
- Lynn105 (sometimes - I'm referring to the game where I was Jack of All Trades.)

There are other names that I'm really unfamiliar with like ACNL Noodle + all the new players this game.

These are the players Mafia is likely to keep until the end because they won't be a threat to them. If you guys can add to the list it, then go for it.

Well I don't feel good about lynching new players on Day One, because none of your playstyles are known yet. I was just asking so I could see whether he/she was a typical inactive or not. =P

Personally I'm looking at the names that won't be targeted by Mafia ever, for a Day One lynch. I don't like having them at the end of the game and us having to rely on them putting 2 + 2 together.

Until Truffles figures out a way to guide us, that is.

I would like for everyone to work on figuring out the potential lynch candidates. I'm still working on compiling the list of roles right now. If the town gets too close to a lynch on someone who I strongly believe is town I will try and shoot the idea down. I'm not going to worry about that right this moment as we still have a lot of time to figure out today's lynch. Sorry if I'm semi away from this thread for a while. I'll try and post more in a bit. I'm trying to work with what I've been given so far.

You could have just made that excuse on the spot since this is your second game, though. We don't actually know how you change from game to game right from the start.

And plus, if your defensiveness stays the same, then your behavior will start to look scummy again.

Ashtot: If you want me to not get in the way of Town winning, then I'll lay a bit low then. I was more trying to say in my post that I support claiming to Truffle though. And believe me, I'd like to start helping Town out way more, I do NOT want to cause a repeat of Mini Mafia 3, and I know how badly I played in that game.

3rd game. I don't know about mini mafia 3 tho, ash brought up your name and I think you have been doing a very good job in past games.

That doesn't really help as it carries over. We can use past games as reference maybe Day 2 to detect any behavioral changes.

Maybe, because you've played two games and you were scum in both? Technically speaking he's helped town more than you. You are pretty much just digging a deeper hole for yourself here.

So far in the game these five players have posted that they would roleclaim to Truffle. Now, this is just a possibility, but it would make sense that the people that publicly stated that they would roleclaim to Truffle, are hiding the fact that they are scum. There is no reason to post that you are roleclaiming, we all know that we should, so there is no reason to tell us that you are. If a mafia member was trying to hid the fact that they are mafia, I think a good thing to do would be to publicly claim that they are roleclaiming to Truffle in order to gain the trust of town members.

I would also like to note that most of these players will probably not aid town, if anything, they will hinder us making the game harder for town to win. For now, I'll be watching these five closely in order to figure out whether or not they are mafia, and I recommend you do the same. I know that this doesn't mean they should be lynched or even considered. I just want the town to watch these people for the reasons stated.

I completely agree with your second paragraph. This is why I wanted to target players that the Mafia will make sure to keep until the end of the game. Those "unknown" players tend to slip by & we find out they're Mafia too late.

Okay, but really. In the short time Prin's game went on for, Kit was mafia. Kit was actually playing much more pro-town in that game when she was mafia. Unfortunately, that game is gone so no quoting from it. Just take my word on it that Kit playing now compared to Prin's game is drastically different. Still, Kit is just going to hinder town and needs to be dealt with in some way.

I was only mentioning the players that publicly said that they would roleclaim to Truffle, which I find is a bit of a scummy move. And the second paragraph was mostly related to that list although they definitely aren't the only players who will be a hindrance to town. The reason Syd and Moonperson were mentioned as a possible hindrance is because of the fact that SO FAR in this game they have put out nothing of significance. As for BlueLeaf, I did say MOST of the players will not benefit town. And by most I meant everyone but you.

Lynn is more inactive than FireNinja. She slips by until the very end. If we are going to lynch an inactive, I think Lynn is the better choice.

Tbh, Lynn was pretty good in Mafia VII. We worked together in the game until she died. I'm not defending her, but as for as inactive players go, there are better options imo.

Then step up your game and at least pretend you're pro-town if you still want to be overly defensive and such. I am probably not the only player who thinks it is hard to judge players who have never been Town, and therefore we are keeping an eye on you. That doesn't automatically make you scum.

Most of us newbies already know we're in danger because no one knows our styles that well. It wouldn't be a shocker, but then again you'd be taking a huge chance trying to lynch one of us right off the bat. Anywho as far as that list goes, if 'coasting' is an issue with scum, then paying attention to people that are just quiet may be required.

So you have those that are too quiet, those that are too noisy, those you can't get a read on because you don't know them... man day one sucks.

I was a pest in AC mafia, but for good reason, to help my mafia team.
I lasted pretty long in that game too! So my "annoying ness" worked out pretty well.
I am not scum in this game. Take that statement with a grain of salt if you wish, as only me and Karla know the truth.

Nobody is making a decision now. If you didn't know, we have to find mafia through discussion and reading those posts.

If town trusts that then... Nevermind most of town would actually trust that fml. While I'm inclined to disagree about Blue Leaf, he did lurk more than I hoped he would Game VII. The other names I'd definitely have on radar, as at least two of these people will probably crack under any attack. AKA what Kit is already doing.

Wouldn't be against lynching one of those names, it's irritating watching the late game be nothing but gloom and despair because the only ones left are lurkers.

Oh, I wasn't aware of anything Lynn has done behind the scenes. If she does do stuff like that, then I guess we could focus on FireNinja or even Kuma then for the same reasons.
