Okay, the lynch on Beardo had the most strange logic ever.

Yes, I did suggest a lynch on an inactive, but Beardo had explained his inactiveness, unlike a few other people.

Okay, the whole Aerious thing isn't really that hard to understand. Maybe you guys are skimming or are just too tired to actually understand it? I don't know, but basically this is all that happened:

I began to talk with Natty because she is the person who needs to die to activate my abilities so it was in her best interest to work with me anyway. We discussed suspicions, roles, etc. blahblahblah, all the mafia stuff like that. Then Pally contacted me about my role and about suspicions, again all the mafia stuff, blahblahblah. She mentioned something about how Aerious claimed Kill Immune to her, but she claimed Veteran in the thread. SO she began talking with Aerious to clear it up. We know now she is really a Veteran and was just confused and thought she was kill immune.

Then, to make it all easier, Pally got us four (Pally, Superpenguin, Aerious, Natty) into our own IRC Channel to discuss. We tried convincing Aerious to pretend that the Veteran Claim was a cover for like DT or Doctor or something more important like that, because mafia would never shoot at a confirmed Veteran (especially when it's Aerious xoxo) Aerious was unwilling to cooperate with us and fell silent and never talked in that channel again.

Then we got Alice in the channel because we considered her confirmed Miller, so we talked with her about all the suspicions roles and stuff. Apparently, it's still too early in the game for her to think of stuff like this? That's at least what she told us.

So yea, that's what happened.


And I find it funny people are so suspicious of me, yet some of those who are have been willing to tell me their role. For example, all the roles I know:

Pally
Aerious
Sataric
Alice

LoveMcQueen
MissNoodle

SuperPenguin, Natty and I decided to approach Aerious because she publicly outed her role. We were thinking of ways to trap mafia, and Aerious began to profusely refuse saying she "liked being vet".

She then decided to post that we are all mafia?

It's common for players to team up with others in order to take down mafia lol.

Where was this opinion when the votes for Beardo were still racking up?

I think why most people voted for Beardo is because: even after explaining their reason for being active and assuring they would try and be more active, they faded away into the shadows again. I don't think I've even seen Beardo say anything about their death - I bet you they either don't know or don't care enough to post anything.


But I really don't think SP is scum. After talking with him like I have, he revealed quite a bit of stuff to me, even what his abilities would be if I died. Idk I just can't see mafia revealing what their abilities are.

I am not convinced that SuperPenguin is scum either, but I don't see why it'd be very hard for anyone to just make up a random name and some self-invented abilities to create a fake role for yourself. Just because he has told you the role name and what it can do, that doesn't mean he's telling you the truth, and SuperPenguin has lied about these things before. In Tina's Samurai mafia, he was lying like crazy about various things regarding his role, which lead to his highly avoidable death. In Toms Person of Interest Mafia, he made up a completely random role, though he did stick with the character name that he was given. I'm sure there are elements of truth to what he has revealed, but I very much doubt he has shared the full description with anyone.

You did to some people, and then you stated in the thread that you "had and would not reveal your role to anyone" or something like that - And the conflicting pieces of information made you seem really shady in the eyes of most, which ultimately led to several people voting for you. But even as people tried to give you second chances and ask for you to defend yourself, you more or less refused, and no role claim was ever made in the thread. When you then flipped Bushi (Townie), most people went "Wtf?" wondering why you would rather die than reveal that openly. I admire that you stood up for yourself and didn't give in to the peer pressure, because nobody can force you to roleclaim, but there is a time and place for everything and the conflicting reports caused you a lot of harm.

I think investigating Aerious would be a good idea due to that.

regarding the chaos with superpenguin et al, i guess it all just seemed like a big distraction to me. [shrugs] regardless of whether or not someone would help you idk why there needed to be such a spectacle made.

and re: beardo, the reason i voted for him was because he kept saying he was going to read through everything and gather information and then would never come back with anything. i found this to be sort of useless and even if he had a reason for being inactive, a complete lack of contribution does not seem like something that is helpful in a mafia game, even to a newbie like me. xD

Even if Beardo was Town, they weren't exactly contributing to the game at all. Like I said earlier, there's no point in risking the lynch of another Town member if someone who may be town isn't going to even contribute to the game or defend himself.
