Mafia TBT Mini Mafia XII: Portal - GLaDOS and her Deadly Neurotoxin [MAFIA WIN]

It kind of sucks that it's a no-will game. I think no PM games should have them, because what is detective even supposed to do when they feel there's no way to protect themselves but need to out inspection results? I guess I shouldn't complain but this is making it really hard for town.

This is definitely a good point. Theres literally no other way for the detective to share their findings without making themselves an obvious target, but it's a little too late for them to do that anyhow...
SP, I honestly thought about that pretty quick flip flop from Sunshinetea while I was driving. She was awfully sure of herself to completely flip flop all of the sudden and then decide to not vote... I mean I felt the same way about not lynching Crazy due to her genuine lack of experience, however I personally didn't have any conviction to lynch her to begin with...

Okay, well I'm slightly suspicious of Sunshinetea right now. She didn't vote yesterday despite having some strong opinions on the lynch candidates. Voting stays open for the entire Day Period, so I don't really see any reason why she was unable to vote besides just not wanting to.

These first two posts show that Sunshinetea is really pushing to lynch Crazy-Gamer and agreeing with the thoughts that Crazy-Gamer would be the best lynch. She mentions that she WAS going to make a post on Crazy-Gamer earlier before anyone was even suspicious of Crazy. I question why she chose not to post that, though. Did she not want to be the one to start a lynch on Crazy?

And then this just sounds so scummy to me. Again, she chooses to agree with what was going on at the time and drops her opinion on Crazy just before the lynch takes place. Basically she was trying to distance her involvement with the Crazy-Gamer lynch as much as possible, and I just feel so uneasy about that.

I was actually just coming here to post about sunshinetea so I'll add to what you have said. Firstly, past games do have an effect on how people see others as "scummy" there's nothing wrong with that, however, what is wrong is to not look at the bigger picture. It seems to me that sunshine did not see the big picture and gained the support of a couple followers(note one of them, 8floor here). We cannot base everything on past games but on the current game as well. Crazy was scared to come out her role because even if she was saved by a lynch it was probable that she would die to mafia (especially taking into consideration that the doctor was killed, I don't blame her for not speaking up). To not see the whole picture and to base everything off of past games comes off scummy to me.

Good for catching that last quote SP, I overlooked that one. No one likes to be the "lynch leader". The fact that sunshinetea might have known crazy would flip town is offputting because even if you don't like being a lynch leader, you lead because you are sure of yourself. Yes, it risks losing a town member and the town turning on you if you are wrong but I don't see people say they "don't want to lead a lynch" very often. Sunshinetea seemed very sure of herself and backed out because I feel she knew crazy would turn up town. Then she failed to vote.

If she did roleclaim, I don't think mafia would waste a kill on someone with two lives. ( At least what I've seen from other games...)

The funny thing is that sunshinetea wouldn't have been the lynch leader anyways. I was the one who pointed fingers at crazy-gamer who gave little to no defense and could've outed her role.

This is a no PM game, so apologies if I'm seeming to rely too much on my intuition, but...I don't think sunshine is suspicious enough to lynch.

I don't want to seem like I'm defending sunshine, but I think you're jumping to conclusions really quickly in order to persuade us to think about another player in a certain way and...it just comes off as sketchy to me. Sunshine and I are coming from the same place in that we were both in newbie when crazy-gamer was behaving the way she was behaving here, and so tbh I don't think we should take suspicion or blame just because of this. And like Aerious said she mentioned the whole 'newbie act' as well. A lot of us were on this boat and you seem to be singling sunshine out just because she didn't vote despite having a heavy opinion.

I don't want to seem like I'm defending sunshine
Okay, first off. I absolutely hate when people say this. Like why are you trying to make us know that you don't want to defend sunshine. It's like if she flips scum, then you think you will be regarded as suspicious as well. Like seriously, if you're posting against my post on Sunshine, then yeah, you're defending Sunshine, bud.

Day only started and we still have like 20 hours to decide. I just wanted to post something early cause I wasn't sure when another player would. Apparently everyone else was already on the same page, though regarding suspicions.

Kaiaa said this well enough already:

Okay yeah, I'm defending her, but if it's not already obvious I was essentially defending her I'm defending myself and the others who voted for crazy-gamer for the same reasons. I don't want to defend her in full, I just want to say that this isn't enough evidence for there to be a lynch against her if that's what all this could lead up to. I'd like to see what she has to say herself before I jump onto any agreements that her lack of voting is suggestive of her being scum.

That being said, I can agree with you and Kaiaa in that we shouldn't have relied on a past game too much when it came to our votes, and I'm pretty dang sure we all realize that now, but analysis of playstyle has produced good results sometimes (the person flipping scum). It's just that in this case it didn't turn out true.

Allow me to redirect you to the words of Princess:

Not true. I post little when I'm scum, I post little when I'm blue, I post little when I'm green.
However, I've also posted a lot when I was scum, a lot even I was blue, and a lot when I was green.

Playstyle isn't just about how much a person posts, it's what they say in the game and how they vote/bandwagon or some other little peculiarity. The playstyle in question, crazy-gamer's, had to do with just all around acting like a newbie and defending bandwagoning. Yeah, it didn't work in this case, but w/e it's still something that deserves being looked into sometimes especially in a no-PM game. No PM games are so different and there aren't as many strategies to use in them ._.

Playstyles are very different from PM Games and Non-PM Games too, though. Generally inactive players will end up contributing more in Non-PM Games, because every discussion is happening in the thread, so they have all the information that everyone else has and is not left out. Yet we still see these inactive players remaining inactive. Non-PM Games are meant to get you inactives posting, ya'know, guys.

Why'd you vote for yourself yesterday and why haven't you been active?

I think I said why I voted for myself earlier. My brothers are playing in a baseball tournament. They had three games. I was at the fields from 3pm to midnight. 6 was when the voting ended and I didn't want to miss a vote. So I put in a placeholder. This also a little vacation for my family. They won't let me be on for too long. But right now I have to go to bed. So goodnight and I will be on in the morning.

Guys, i think Capella is in the mafia. When Tina Voted for her on day 1, she got killed the next night.
And She probably new natty was going to figure out it was her in the mafia.

Capella was townie in Mean Girls.

Yes, I mentioned that earlier which is why I asked you, Sid and 8floor to go look at her playstyle.
