Before I explain what this is, I'd like to explain why. When I joined TBT 2 years ago, everyone was a lot closer than they are now, and rarely was anyone left out. With a couple exceptions, everyone got along well, and everyone was happy. But this past year or so, TBT has been different... maybe it's just me, but I don't think so. Some people are "too busy" for TBT, and others only wanna talk to a couple friends, rather than meet new TBTers... whatever the reasons, TBT is not as closeknit as it used to be.
So, onto what the TBT Social Experiment is, exactly. The first goal of this is to allow TBTers to get to know other TBTers - whether they be members or staff, ex-Sage, new or old, whoever they may be - better, and hopefully make some new friends and develop a more open attitude to befriending more TBTers.
The second goal will be the harder one to carry out in good fashion - to allow people to let everyone know how they feel about that person, what they like about them, what they don't like, and whatever else they may have not felt comfortable sharing in the past, or maybe never thought of sharing.
No one is forced to do this, but if you are interested, please sign up in this thread, or PM me if you don't want other people knowing you're signing up. The actual stuff will not occur in this thread, but rather in a board here at TBT that will be invisible to only members who signed up with this and are serious about it, as well as PMs, and possibly IMs.
The only requirements for people signing up is that they will do these things:
-Be open to the causes of the project
-Be honest about everything
-While being honest, still being respectful
-Be mature about it
I hope this turns out well... but I can't promise anything - after all, it's just an experiment. Also, please don't be discouraged from doing it just because your close friends aren't... be a leader.
