So happy to see new activities.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this event and getting back on New leaf.
Was a bit sad that I was coming to the end of the tasks.

I finally talked to Digby today and he just informed me this is my first time activating streetpass since the upgrade to welcome amiibo…

I definitely didn’t get to do much with the update it seems…

I don't have hammer or bells. Do they still give in game. My old town I had but it got corrupted in 2021 I was on the island some hacker putting bells everywhere even in sky I got knocked off screen went black I ended up back in my town somehow so did that guy. I noticed All my tools in inventory gone. My screen went black again then I go to turn on game it says data corrupted I looked up online found out it can happen from hackers I was so upset cause I had been playing December 2013-february 2021 all my data gone. So can I still get hammer from island and beans from Harvey like back then?

That’s rubbish, I’m so sorry you had that experience with a hacker. I think Harvey’s beans will be obtainable even once online is shut down, as long as you have the Welcome Amiibo update. As for the toy hammer, I think it’s exclusively from Club Tortimer islands (but I might be wrong). So I think if you wanted it you’d have to go to the island online, which you might not want to do after your previous experience. Otherwise, someone could gift it to you over the internet before April 8th, or locally beyond that date.

I really want to thank staff again for this event!

I didn't have my 3ds and own copy of acnl with me here, so i wasn't planning on participating.
Then i was able to get someone elses copy and 3ds, so I could participate anyway!

I had to start from (almost) scratch, but it so fun to be able to trade and play online again and be excited, and just see the community so active again!

But most importantly, this morning I woke up excited to another day, to see what new items for sale there are, who my RV visitor would be, what song KK was gonna play... the last time i woke up excited to play new leaf was maybe 2016? 8 years ago!

So I'm really grateful for this event to bring back those memories and excitement for one last time!

I always thought I would be a New Horizons girl, but I'm slowly becoming obsessed with New Leaf! I love the mini games on Tortimer's Island! I went over to catch a Horse Mackerel for Chip and ended up playing minigames. Sorry Chip!

I have never been as active on TBT as during this event. Even on the Internet I'm quite shy and in most of my online places I usually just lurk. I'm still not sure how I feel about this change, but I guess it's nice?...

This is so real, I swear I only averaged less than 5 posts a week before this. Now I’m engaging with literally everyone because of the appeal of Streetpass Silver. I honestly think I was only at 20,100ish posts before this event lol

Could you try with a different character? I lost my beans so I tried it on a second character and got them. He has to be feeding the birds and you just keep clicking ‘heya Harv’ until he gives them to you

Yess, I very much miss the New Leaf events, and this being the last one is both sad and happy to me at the same time. Plus getting to hang with others on New Leaf to complete the initiatives makes me feel included in the forums a whole lot more than before.

I don’t think it’s a lost beans issue on my character as I didn’t really play after the Welcome Amiibo update came out so I’ve definitely never gotten them before.

I just haven’t gotten lucky enough to find him feeding the birds. He’s always doing something else. I’ll keep trying these next couple days.
