My game is in Japanese, is that a problem for submitting screenshots to events? Do I need to translate stuff or do you think it will be clear enough?

I think it should be fine. Are you able to type your username and TBT 2024 in English for the Town Initiatives?

I had considered that too, but I'd want to check with the rest of the staff running those events. So if @Airysuit doesn't have the English alphabet on their in-game keyboard, I'll ask about other options like namecards.

I guess i was wondering most about puzzle league, because im de Japanese version "score attack" is called "endless mode", and "time attack" is called "score attack". So that might be confusing.

Took me a while to realise how in the heck people got scores of 60k with a playtime of 2 minutes lol

Well, in that case I can confirm that I will accept it since it's my event.

I found the info online confirming the different modes in Japanese so you'll want to play and submit a score in 'Endless Mode'. Sorry I didn't realize there were variations in the names for different language versions!

Ok I know we're only 3 days into the event, but this is already one of my favourite events ever! The StreetPass silver/mystery balloon thing is so much fun and very unique. I look forward to coming on to collect my silver & buy my token every day. Plus all the New Leaf activities are super nostalgic and making me love the game again.

Same! I'm really enjoying this event and I love the nostalgia! So many good memories. I often just open the game to quickly do some tasks for events, however this time around I've been enjoying rediscovering the game and started playing again.

This is the most active I've been for an event in a while tbh. I'm not sure how many collectibles I'll keep, but I definitely at least want to get some perfect cherries since it's my native fruit in New leaf.

I’m not sure what collectibles I’ll keep either even though they are all great. Participating in the events themselves is always my favourite part.

Thanks to this event, the apple-only sidebar has returned. This time, there are five perfect apples in the bunch as well.

Do I plan on selling them? No! These are my apples.

Awww, I no longer have my 3DS or New Leaf but I remember getting the special edition XL and spending many joyful hours playing both New Leaf and HHA, until I gave my XL away to a friend without one. Those balloon collectibles are so cute and give me OG Phineas vibes What a lovely send-off!

Only recently active users were assigned fruit, but we'll assign them to anyone else who wants to participate. You're all set now!

Some things that bring me joy in this event:

• Seeing posts from members that I haven't seen before or in a long time
• The wear and tear on the 3DS circle pad joystick thingies on everyone's photos (or for some folks like me where the gray pad just fell off)
• Reading random dialog from my villagers as I go about my tasks
• FRUIT! - an ode to my first collectible pursuit
• Discovering things about New Leaf that I missed because I gave up on it before the 2016 update

glad it wasnt just me!! i was so caught off guard because mine was just... soft. and sort of melting

I’ve since replaced it but mine was beginning to snap completely off at one point as the plastic part was starting to break.

My thumb circle pad also came off I replaced it but the replacement is slowly disintegrating as well
