TBT's Sakura Week

Yes I also find that the purple sakura is a bit dull or barely different from the pink sakura if they're not next to each other. I also wish it was more purple ^^

When I first saw it I genuinely thought it was just a cooler pink and thought my eyes were being weird. I ended up colour picking it because I was making some Sakura Week art for fun, and it is a cooler toned pink (in comparison to the og pink sakura which has a warmer tone). Pink is my favourite colour and so I can't complain too much, but I really do just see it as a different pink sakura.

Omg I got another bee what!? Congrats to everyone that got bees, lily of the valleys, and the hybrids you wanted! I know Skar and Xara got bee/lotv. I'm happy you both got them! Fingers crossed everyone gets what they want tonight or something nice!

I personally really like this edit from Box because I think it fits the soft, muted look of the rest of the sakuras and is clearly a pastel lavender like others seem to want. Not trying to criticize anything though, I still think the purple sakura is a pretty colour as is, and appreciate staff for their efforts to make these recolours a reality. ;v;

I personally really like this edit from Box because I think it fits the soft, muted look of the rest of the sakuras and is clearly a pastel lavender like others seem to want. Not trying to criticize anything though, I still think the purple sakura is a pretty colour as is, and appreciate staff for their efforts to make these recolours a reality. ;v;

okay i've never ever done a hybrid flowering watering event in all my years on tbt and i'm deciding to take part now with 2 days left - the math ain't there but let's go

I just woke up and am still catching up to the watering. I hope I have better luck tonight . I’d love a lotv since I missed enchanted forest (so many cute collectibles ) and a zipper sakura at the very least .

Would be really cool to get a bee or lotv but I will keep my expectations low and just hope for a hybrid or two. Would like to get a pink hyacinth because I haven't gotten that one yet, and some roses before the event ends. : )

I personally like how the current purple sakura is supposed to be more natural toned- but since the blue one is already an artificial sakura, I thought "why not... might as well make this one an artificial colored one too" Lot of purples out there but I am always drawn to this type of purple
Although looking back, I'd probably adjust it a bit to harmonize with the blue sakura more!! That was just a two second edit haha
(I also agree with the people who say the purple sakura is a pink sakura- it def is! Just a diff type of pink)

I made this quick art because I still cannot get over how a little bee has come to visit me during these trying times. I’ve been riddled with anxiety for so long, but many things including this event have definitely helped me distract myself and calm my nerves.

No matter the outcome I love this event, and I wish everyone the best of luck in getting their desired flowers, and the best of luck with whatever adversities come your way! May the flowers bloom your way today, tomorrow, and forevermore.
