1. How Do I Earn Snowflakes?
You'll earn Snowflakes (the main event currency) by participating in events.

2. What Are Chocolate Coins?
Chocolate Coins are an additional currency that is also earned by participating in events. These coins can be used to buy certain collectible candies (rather than wrapped presents) in the shop outright.

3. How Do I Get Season of Giving Collectibles?
Unlike traditional TBT events, you won't be using your Snowflakes to buy collectibles for yourself. Instead, you'll buy wrapped presents from the shop to gift to other TBT users. The contents of these presents won't be revealed until Christmas night on December 25th.

You may gift these presents to your friends, or head over to the Pass the Parcel board to find other users to exchange gifts with.

4. Are Snowflakes and Chocolate Coins Transferable?
Event currency is non-transferable. You will need to spend your Snowflakes by Christmas Day at 7:00 PM EST. It is also not possible to give other users event currency.

5. Who Do I Ask if I Have a Question About an Event?
If you have a question about a specific event in TBT's Season of Giving, please ask the event's host - either by private message or within the event thread. You're also welcome to tag them and ask your question here. Someone else may be wondering the same thing you are, so don't be afraid to ask.

6. How Can I See What Events I’ve Earned Snowflakes/Chocolate Coins For?
You may view a list of all transactions within your Transaction Log.

7. How Does the Top Gifters Leaderboard Work?
You will receive points based on the Snowflake value of the gifts you give to other users. Each day, the top gift giver from the last 24 hours will be rewarded with a unique gift-giver username title/color that will last for the entirety of the event. However, you can only win once.

If there's a tie, we'll look at the amount of Christmas Lights the tied users gave in the last 24 hours. If there's another tie, we'll base it on the amount of Christmas Lights given all month. To view the leaderboard and available gift-giver titles, please visit this thread.

8. Will There Be Staff Favorite Prizes?
There will not be any staff favorites for TBT's Season of Giving; however, certain events will award community favorites. These events include:

• Chipper Confections
• Holiday Snowscape
• Christmas Countdown
• Lyrical Limericks
• Tiny Toy Jamboree

For these events, please remember to react to your favorites. The most reacted-to entries will go to a community poll for voting.

Can you win a second snowflake collectible if you've already won one a previous year? I know for animated collectibles the answer is normally no, but I figure I'd double check.

Owning a Special Snowflake collectible from 2015 and/or 2020 will not prevent you from being able to earn another in the 2022 event.

May I ask about the Holiday Snowscapes category run by @pandapples ? I was asked to resubmit my entry, I resubmitted it, but no word about whether it has been accepted. I only ask as it looks like some other entries have been missed and currency has been issued for entries after I resubmitted mine. I know the holiday season is busy for you all, but just wanted to check so I had time if I had to resubmit again. From what I can tell it looks like it wasn't accepted because you're not in designer mode in your proof screen shot. I'm not a mod so idk if you will have to resubmit or just edit your post (I'd recommend waiting for confirmation from pandapples) but I'm pretty sure you will at least need to take another picture in designer mode (The mode where you make paths and build rivers and cliffs) If you don't have that unlocked yet you'll have to see what pandapples wants to do abt that.

I've taken a look at all entries that haven't been marked as accepted and they either do not meet the requirements or have been edited later so the host won't have seen them. This is exactly why we have the no editing rule, for the record - because we don't go back and re-look at posts we have already reviewed; we work forward!

@pandapples hasn't been online in a couple of days, so I'll drop her a message off-TBT and she can better explain to anyone whose entry hasn't been accepted exactly why it hasn't.

The reason your submission was not accepted is due to your proof screenshot not being in Designer mode. We request this specifically to ensure the island people take their screenshots on are their own. Those who had not been accepted due to their proof screenshot prior to my post here should edit their entry and react to the post so I can review it again. This is because of the voting system we have for favorites. I don't want anyone to lose their vote progress!

I'm a bit late, but any raffle ticket we release can be hidden without any issues, regardless of the event. Your name will still show up when we pull our lists.

I know there are contests that give only one chocolate coin and some that give two, what would be the best ones for me to participate in, in order to get the four I need?

The participation prize for The Lost Bar quiz, which starts on the 29th, is a Chocolate Coin, so I think you should be fine!
