Chipper Confections

Tried to do a snowflake, but I couldn´t really draw well with the "sugar creme" so I had to go for a simpler design. l

When it says the base can be store bought, does that include gingerbread decorating kits? I like to buy them around the holidays anyways so I used one for this, but if it doesn't count I will try again with something else (though it will probably turn out even worse 😭)

And despite how ugly my little gingerbread dude looks, I really did try... I don't know why I insist on buying these every year despite how horribly wrong it always goes 🥲

And to top it all off, a piece of hair fell on my cookie and I didn't even notice until after I took the photo 😬

After the entry photo was taken (and the cookie de-haired), I made some optimizations to the cookie-frosting-sprinkle ratio:

Heya I was wondering, will entries be accepted today? I was hoping to spend my snowflakes soon. :)

I decided to make Daisy Mae and her turnips! Her turnips are a bit festive though, as they seem to have sprouted Holly leaves instead of Turnip leaves! The turnip cookie is made from a Santa Bag cookie, and the Turnip leaves are made from a Holly leaf cookie! The Daisy Mae cookie was hand cut, using the reference as a template. All were frosted literally by hand finger.

@LaBelleFleur has been far more busy than she expected so I just went through the thread and reviewed the submissions. Everyone up to this point should now have their entries accepted!

Quick note, the opening post did not mention cookies made with a general Animal Crossing theme. This is usually allowed for our events anyway and we will not ask for entries with that theme to be re-done, especially with the physical effort involved (and let's not be wasteful!). Long story short: Any general animal-crossing themed entries have also been accepted, and if more are posted they will be too.

...This thread makes me want cookies. 🍪
