GONE FROM TBT
My drawing and a free-form literary sort of poem for today:
Red is like a fleeting flame, it is there one moment, big and blaring, but then it fades away, leaving nothing where it once was.
Green is like the verdancy of spring, shooting up all at once in a flourish of life, but each leaf and blade of grass is fragile.
Purple is like the flowers, beautiful but ephemeral, blossoming in a burst of color before wilting into a dull husk of its former self.
Not so with Blue. Blue is like the ocean, omnipresent, constant, everywhere and ever-changing, unconquerable, gradually wearing away at even the strongest of stones. Blue is like a glacier, chillingly beautiful, unstoppable, baring down on the world slowly but surely, one fraction of an inch at at time.
Blue will quench Red's burning flame. Blue will quell Green's burgeoning growth. Blue will make the brightness of Purple wither away.
It cannot be stopped. Blue may be slow, but it is steady.
We may be behind, but beware, Red, Purple, and Green.
Blue is coming for thee.
