So the remaining collectibles Im looking for (apple, peach, chocolate cake, blue candy) cost about 10k TBT! I need to find the fastest way to get them. Yeah, I dont have any collectibles to sell, gems, embers, da points, or pokemon stuff. Just ACNL items... Yup, I know posting a lot the forums helps too!

--I dont really feel like taking out 20 million igb for 100 tbt. Furniture sets seem the next best thing but im not sure which sells are guaranteed to sell at a certain price every time. Ive seen people go as low as 45 to 150 per set.

--Or is selling individual items better (korean/japanese/european dlcs)?

--Are winter unorderables ( Snowman Matryoshka, Snow bunny, Small igloo, Sleigh, snow globe, holiday stockings, festive tree, snowman hat, snowman jingle set, jingle's pic, mystery/santa bag) good to sell?

-- Im surprised Redd's art (painting & statues) is not something people would want to buy T.T

--I dont have another game copy to cycle, and I dont want my only town to be cycling town. In my current town, I have all my dreamies so I cant cycle. Even if I did have another game, I feel cycling would take a lot of time but wish I was patient & free enough to cycle~ ^^

--I dont collect villager pics and 333 is too much to collect.

--Maybe food items are the best to sell? Do I have
a complete list of all food items aside from
street pass items for acnl?

Sweets:
milk, butter, sugar, vinegar
afternoon tea set, berliner, birthday cake, bread box,
chocolate cake, box of chocolate, chocolate fountain,
dango, dessert case, ice cream case, fruit basket,
marshmallow chair, pumpkin pie, rice cake, shaved
ice lamp, shaved ice maker, soft-serve lamp, tteok,
twelve-grape plate, wedding cake

Savory:
barbeque bed, buffet server, bureom, ceramic hot pot,
conveyor-belt sushi, cornucopia, eggplant cow, hot
plate, kim bap plate, lazy susan table, lunch tray,
new year's noodles, pickle jar, popcorn machine,
rice cooker, salad bar, samgyetang, sandwhich
display, steamed-bun case, stewpot, sushi platter,
toaster, veggie basket

I know its a lot of TBT to make, but I hope to do so in a quick way.

So looks like hybrids, shrubs, and saplings/cedar trees are the best way to go!

It's very hard to make 10k TBT in a short amount of time by selling ACNL items... Things that get you lots of TBT are Art, FR Treasure, and resalement of collectables, I struggle to keep 10k at once anyway lol Good luck

If u TT for hybrids/bush starts and sell them for 2-4 tbt each u could make it...probably in a month or less

whats the going-rate for art?

Hybrids are a good way to go, sets have done me very good but the rare ones like the 7/11 set has always gotten me between 100-150 each time but hybrids people will pay for those. I just happen to spend my tbt on getting the past birthstones though but I could have easily had 10k by now in the short time that I have come back.

cycling is the best! When you are expecting a villager, it will most likely be a random move in. The villager from the random move in will all come from only one of the eight personalities. Just keep opening a new character and resetting until you get a popular villager, which then you would create a new house.

If you don't like to cycle, then time travel to get shrubs, saplings and hybrids!

cycling i guess?? if you can do it

Sorry I dont have another game copy to cycle, and I dont want my only town to be cycling town. Even if I did have another game, I feel cycling would take a lot of time but wish I was patient & free enough to cycle~ ^^

Something I've done is sell villagers (not cycling, just if popular ones come into my town and I don't want them, I sell them for TBT) and I also did April Fool's day a bunch of times for villager pictures. The pictures have only been going for 10-20 tbt each, but they're worth more than hybrids. You don't even need to do it every day or multiple times a day. It takes a heck of a lot of work to get back to present time, if you even care about that. I don't really, so it works for me. Plus, I'm selling holiday/streetpass/dlc/gulliver items for tbt. I've gotten over 100tbt in a few weeks with that. But tbh if you have a popular villager like Lolly and don't want them, just sell them for 200-300tbt and you'll be set.

Also, if you post a lot on the forums you'll get tbt, which I'm sure you already know. I find posts I want to contribute in and participate in conversation sometimes and that gets good tbt too.

Yup posting a lot helps I guess! Yeah I dont have another game copy to cycle, and I dont want my only town to be cycling town. In my current town, I have all my dreamies so I cant cycle. Even if I did have another game, I feel cycling would take a lot of time but wish I was patient & free enough to cycle~ ^^

Should I sell winter holiday items? (i.e. Snowman Matryoshka, Snow bunny, Small igloo, Sleigh, snow globe, holiday stockings, festive tree, snowman hat, snowman jingle set, jingle's pic, mystery/santa bag). Which DLC, holiday, and/or streetpass are the popular to sell in your experience?

Oh yeah, if you have all your dreamies that wouldn't work. >.< Honestly, cycling didn't take up that much time for me, I just didn't like the pressure of constantly having to update and cycle, so I closed it and now I'm just posting villager move-outs whenever they happen. It was a little more when I had 5 classes and volunteer work and a job to do though.

If you sell any holiday stuff, including snowman and ice sets, maybe even full Jingle set (I've never seen it sold on here before so I don't know for sure), that would be good. I sold my spooky set for about 40-50tbt, and creepy could go for more because you can't buy it in-store. Gracie items also sell well, like the hairbow wig, gorgeous set, princess set, etc. because they're really expensive and not everyone has Gracie's or wants to spend IGB on the items.

For DLC, my sunrise lamp and tree-stump chair sold but not any of the zodiac stuff yet. If you have less-common, non-reorderable DLC, those would probably sell better. Streetpass items that sell most are balloons. If you get a lot, you could sell for 2-3tbt each and would get good tbt.

I've sold quite a few pumpkin heads, so if you collect those on Halloween and sell them, that would be good. Just be sure to stock up on candies for the creepy set.

My next best sell are villager pictures, which is why I suggested April Fool's day.

And as I said, posting helps because for really long, meaningful posts can get me like 10tbt per post, and if I make 10 of those a day, that's 100tbt per day, 700tbt a week. That on top of selling things would add up quickly. I have almost 1000tbt even though I kept spending it, just from selling things.

~Post a lot, and post meaningful things too! The longer your posts, the more you earn, and if you earn 5-10 TBT per post, and you post 10-20 times a day, that's 100 TBT a day, 700 TBT a week, 3k TBT a month, and within a few months you'll have 10k TBT from just posting! Make sure you post in areas that do actually give bells from posting though, since some sections won't.

~If you're planning on buying the collectibles, then waiting for restocks/events/giveaways and participating in them as much as possible might be the way to go instead of saving TBT. So far, I've snagged an apple, a couple cherries, and a couple dobutsu no mori house collectibles from restocks, and I didn't pay much for them all (less than 1k). If you see a giveaway though, and one that allows multiple ways for entry, maybe try doing that? I've not won much from giveaways, but it's always fun to take a chance!

~If you're actually looking to earn the TBT from selling AC:NL items and things, like stargate says, villagers are super popular and worth tons along with rare or DLC sets. And if you don't want to TT long amounts of time to get rare sets, you can collect gardening goods and sell those too! What I usually do is plant a checkerboard pattern with hybrids of the same kind/color like:
01010
10101
01010
10101
01010
1 = hybrid, 0 = empty space, no fertilizer used since most hybrids breed easy for me and you can sell fertilizer anyways
or something like that, water them, then buy the saplings/bushes/fertilizer from the store and TT to the next day since small amounts of TT-ing are wayyy safer, and if a villagers randomly announces it's gonna move, they'll just be in boxes so you can sell them if they're popular. Then the next day, I collect the hybrids (I think it's 5 hybrids max spawn in a day? That's what it caps out for me), buy saplings/bushes/fertilizer, and then TT back to the correct date and time. Rinse and repeat, and you'll have tons of gardening supplies to open a shop. You just need patience if you use this method ^

~Auction items too! I've noticed items usually go for a lot more if sold via auction rather than outright sold. You gotta make sure they're popular enough though or you'll end up with a single low bid and be in the hole.

I hope that helps somewhat ;)

thanks for your help! I was hoping to also wait for restocks to buy the collectibles but who knows when the collectibles will be restocked again. I missed the apple restock last time but I hope to catch the next restock!

Unorderables, DLC, Japanese items are the fastest in my opinion since I've seen them go for 10-20tbt each. Full unorderable sets are also fast with rates going from 75-100 per set.

Selling hybrids and bushes would take you much longer, unless you had a lot because I usually see them going for 2tbt each.

i got 50k for sending a fellow member a pic of my inner thigh
