The 2017 TBT Year in Review! (Part One)
The 2017 TBT year kicked off with an action packed month full of introductions!
Red, yellow, and white lily flower collectibles were introduced for the first time in the forum shop...
Forum administration celebrated the first day of the year by introducing membership to new forum rules, by announcing that a Username change feature exploit had been discovered, and by promising that the exploiters would soon be introduced to the wrath of Mr. Resetti
...
Also, on January, Friday the 13th, we were introduced to Wierd Doll, the mysterious and never-before-seen cousin of the Weird doll...
plus, the forum's secret identity, The Woods, was unlocked and revealed for the day once again, per tradition...
Valentine's rose collectibles reappeared, after their long hiatus, per tradition (if you like love and stuff
)...
purple, yellow, and white violet flower collectibles made their first ever appearance in the forum shop...
(also, my birthday took place, which i mention only because the forum gyroid finally sent me a special greeting for the day, unlike in the previous year (altho it's better to be greeted late than never) -- so i learned that birthday gyroid is indeed still alive and that, from the time of his message, he's apparently residing in a GMT region...)
in an April fool's Day prank that greatly alarmed the middle schooler members, the admins pretended that the forum-wide collectibles were accidentally deleted... then in celebration of theircruelty fun, a limited edition flea collectible was available, just like the ones you catch on your unwashed ACNL villagers...
also, for the first time, the forum's homepage banner tree bore sakura blossoms...
later in the month, the forum's traditional egg hunt returned at Easter time, introducing new egg collectibles that included the Poptart egg, the Kirby egg, the Chao egg, the Zen egg, and the Universe egg... but for the first time ever, nobody was able to solve all the clues until after the weekend, on Easter monday (better late than never!), when Rosetti pulled off the feat and was rewarded with the golden egg collectible per tradition ...
eh i can't remember if anything happened this month tbh
the forum's annual shop restockapalooza event was held this month instead of in May (better late than never tho), with randomly restocked apples, cherries, peaches, toy hammers, and Japanese letter collectibles, all making their only appearance of the year.... the forum members then merrily bickered and dished snark at each other in the restock wars aftermath, per tradition...
