As you may know, today is the bug-off. If you want to get a great catch, look for the birdwing, which is the largest butterfly. A high 87 points, and no villager can best your catch! Nat, the judge, calls it rarer than rare. There's also a green butterfly with an odd name, but it's green and pretty rare.. 84 points. If they're already in your bug encyclopedia, it will help a bunch by looking at them. Well, glad to help!

I think this is pretty well-known across the forums, but it's always nice to let those who don't know, know.

The birdwing was pretty hard for me to catch. It kept moving when I swung! <_<
I've only ever seen one Birdwing in my town..

I think you mean the Raja Brooke, I caught that one.

It's apparently not that rare in my town since I've caught at least 5 of 'em in a single tourney :r
One time I caught one that was a 108 pointer! Is it really that hard to catch? It's big but slow, agrias butterfly is a LOT harder to catch.
