im lazy so i make instant ramen a lot, and i always crack a raw egg in mine when its done. thoughts? do you hate it or love it? lets talk about raw eggs

How do you not get sick? A friend of mine got real sick from cake batter (with raw egg). I've been curious to try it but that fear keeps me from doing so :(

Does the egg cook in the ramen by itself? Are they special eggs? What is the secret?

I've never had raw egg. Don't want to risk salmonella.

I kind of want to try an emu egg, just to see what it tastes like. They're absolutely massive.

well, when i crack it in the ramen, it kinda cooks. it just mixes in with the broth. ive never gotten sick from eating raw or undercooked eggs. theres like a 1 outta 20,000 chance that youll get salmonella from eating raw eggs, its really rare.

I always get pasteurized eggs, so this lowers the risk of getting salmonella even more so than unpasteurized eggs. I love eggs! Especially slightly undercooked. I always eat leftover brownie batter from the bowl and I haven't gotten sick once from it.

When I make instant ramen, I first have the soup base separate from the noodles. I then swirl the soup and as it keeps going in circles I stir in beaten egg and this makes the egg soft and fluffy. Then I just add in the noodles.

With glass noodles it's actually pretty good, and yeah if you have salmonella eggs in your stores they should be closed. Raw eggs are okay as long as they are not old/rotten obviously.

aw man ;-; no... but not bc of salmonella or anything related lmao... i just dont like eggs

Don't mind eggs when they're cooked well, but not a fan of them

slurp slurp slurp up that yolk babey yum
i haven't tried it myself but i do really like egg drop soup with those lil srunchy noodles in 'em.
my favorite kind of egg is deviled,, they're so good?? not with onions in them though, yucky. it's ironic that you mix the yolk with mayo though,, mix ur eggs with some more eggs
i also LOVE quiche/quich?, not sure how to spell it lol

eggs are nasty man, raw, cooked, or with ramen, eggs are just ew.

Fried/scrambled eggs are probably some of my favourite foods but raw eggs are a big no no, they're just way too slimy when they're uncooked. Sometimes I'll have eggs in my noodles but they're always either fried or boiled aha

I have no problems eating raw batter though :^)

No this is actually so good when you crack an egg into ramen. If the broth is hot which it should be if you just made it, it cooks a little.
I'm pretty partial to eggs tho as you can maybe tell from my mayor name and town name (my name actually is meg tho i just got lucky it rhymes with egg)

But yeah I love most forms of eggs. Hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs, and sunny side up eggs are my favorites though

The only Egg humanity need Although I'm an egg myself too

can't believe some of y'all hatin' on eggs

usually when i throw an egg in my ramen i do it as i'm adding the noodles so it gets time to cook, if we're talking about semi-raw eggs though I like eating egg over rice.
