It may not be the same one, I actually don't remember getting one from Ellie, are you sure it was me? I don't have any wifi feedback to or from Ellie except for Jacques. :/
Regardless if it's not the same Marina then the other one was definitely given away because I won't void that popular of a villager and like I said, i always get everyone out and offered before I reset(that I got from other people at least) how long ago was this? I wish someone would have asked me back then when I'd know for sure exactly what happened. I have a lot of "thanks for my dreamie!" And "thank you!"s without names involved but nothing about a Marina received or given by me?
TL;DR if she was given to me and I just don't remember she was definitely given away for free because I have a severe anxiety of upsetting people so I'd never void (without giving them a chance of finding a home, and even then if they were as popular as Marina at all) or resell a villager from a giveaway thread. ;A;
