So I joined a Max Raid for Zeraora and...

It was shiny. It could've come from someone using an exploit, but I'm gonna just imagine that this was pure luck Doesn't sting too much, so long as the 1 million goal is met and we all receive a shiny one, but wow, was I shocked. I caught a random Shiny Gossifleur just a couple of hours before this happened which made this even more surreal.

Also, we lost which only added insult to injury.

Probably during my second playthrough after the game came out that I started after completing the first playthrough.

I encountered a full-odds shiny Galarian Yamask on my first ever encounter when I got to Route 6. Used it on my team.
