The new live action Pokemon movie. Opinions?

I would never want to watch that ugly weird looking movie
it just looks dumb and pikachu's voice, like just why does it have to a man voice. The game is dumb and so would this movie.

It is a Male Pikachu in the movie (you can see its tail), so it kinda makes sense, but I see your point in that the voice should be lighter and more feminine since Pikachu's 'pika pika' 's are like that. Imagine in the cartoon if Pikachu said pika pika with Ryan's voice xD

yeah its to strange that its a deep voice for A PIKACHU, and of course I already know its a male pikachu by looking at its tale.
I wonder what Lunala and Zekrom would look like irl, I bet they will look kinda creepy.

This is true, but I totally thought it was going to be completely animated. That's probably on me, though, but it being life-action surprised me. But, I'm kind of glad it is. It's something none of us has seen before.

Speaking of the looks of Pokemon, I honestly find it a bit unsettling, even for Pikachu. I don't mind the voices really but I'm not even into Pokemon so...

It looks pretty interesting to be honest. Sure, the realistic looking Pokemon are kinda weird at first, but
I think they look not that bad, at least Pikachu looks really cute. Will looking forward to the movie.

The realistic looking Pokemon look legit. You can tell they are trying to reach the kids that grew up when Pokemon came out in the late 90s. The demographic for this movie is probably around 25-30s year old's, and their own families. It kind of has a 80s movie vibe to lol hopefully it will be witty enough for adults and funny for kids.
