One of the most important things to do, is to try typing with proper grammar, no "HI I R NU!!!!!!!!11" It won't hurt you to move your finger over a few extra keys.
Another thing is smiley spam, this can be very annoying to most other users. Sure, most of the smilies look good, but seeing so many :gyroidsideways: :gyroidsideways: :gyroidsideways: :gyroidsideways: :gyroiddance: :gyroiddance: :gyroiddance:
Is just plain annoying.
Main topic
In most cases bumping topics are okay, but if you bump a topic every 2 minutes, that's just useless, the best cases to bump topics are atleast 2 hours, or a few days. You will get your ass chewed off if you bump a topic from a time like 2005.

There are a few ways to ask to visit someone else's town, you can post a topic in The Gate, post in a topic of someone inviting people, or PM.
Now PMs can be annoying to most users, if they so "no", they mean no. Don't ask why, just walk away.

It's best to steer clear of flame wars, but you will probably end up in a flame war or two, and the normal instinct for you to do would be to insult them back. (The best thing to do, is to report the person.) If you are gonna insult them, try not to seem like a total moron, so things like "ur gay" or "ur mom" are a no-no. (Also, things like using gay as an insult, or racial slurs can offend most people, so try to refrain from using those.)
(Even if you're not even supposed to be involved in a flame war XD)

Off-Topic = For discussing anything not related to Animal Crossing, but this place is not used for any random topics.
Brewster's Cafe = Not meant for any serious discussion, this board is a little more "spammy", but of course, topics like "sdsag" or random gibberish are not allowed. You may also advertise sites here, or play forum games.
That's all i have to say right now, some stuff that i've typed might be a liiiiiittle... (can't think of the right word), but cut me some slack, it's late D: I'm not forcing you to do this, but it'd be smart to follow this.
