The Official Feedback Thread

Would the staff be open to future egg hunts to be organized into teams to work in team threads together without sharing answers but only good and fair hints in the team threads?

>I think this will make it easier and more welcoming for newer members, and it could encourage members who aren't on the forums as much to be on the forums more often and it will also help members get more familiar with the site and tbt history.
>The use of good and fair hints will encourage the building of confidence in members of being able to discover and egg without the answer being given to them directly or in a poor hint.
>Organizing groups would keep some groups being super large and could keep groups from sharing stuff with other groups if there is some sort of milestone or reward for not discussing stuff across groups.
>Also, the hunt could start out with the team discussion threads as locked to give a chance for people to look on their own. Later they can be unlocked. But I think my general idea could also work without this completely.

Obviously if people insist on sharing answers outside of tbt nothing can be done about it, but I would like the staff to encourage a good experience in egg hunting. If people insist on spoiling it for themselves, that is on them.
I also think this would be a good way to do it if there are many eggs launched or if we do baskets of eggs in the future.

One of the banners from this event was the Zipper Birds under the red sky. I would like to see more red sky banners in the future. It doesn’t have to be about Zipper.

gonna be blunt here. given how basically every team based event on the site has ended up with people being grouped in horribly unbalanced ways, this sounds like an absolutely terrible idea

to say nothing of how it just adds needless excess work for uh.... what? preserving the sanctity of the hunt or something? (a lot of this post comes off as some weird obsession with this, apologies if I'm misreading)

I do feel for the newer members being possibly intimidated, though it is worth noting that staff have done better about that this year. since people are now able to publicly ask for help (just not post non-community clue hints publicly), while in previous years where help was allowed, it was barred to even publicly ask for it. so people either had to have connections already, or be willing to message someone they likely never interacted with on any meaningful level before and hope for the best. which I feel that this being unfair to newer members is why staff changed that

that said though, I will say that this feels rather lost in the text bloat of the egg hunt op and maybe for future hunts could be made more easily discernible
