All my friends and family seem to hate it but I absolutely love it. Apparently it smells?

It's my go to spread for toast and at times sandwiches.

Thoughts on peanut butter?

I love peanut butter! I don't eat it much anymore, but I used to just sit down with a jar and eat it with a spoon. Also, grilled peanut butter sandwiches are delicious.

Same! I could eat it straight out of the jar.

In England, it's probably more unusual to like it so I can kind of understand why no one likes it. Think Americans like more than us Brits.

I’m not really a fan, but I’m not much of a bread eater either. I wouldn’t know what else to put it on. My dog loves it, though.
Goes well with chocolate. But I only use with bread, peanut butter and sliced banana sandwiches is top tier food.

Your dog knows his/her food haha

it’s okay, i don’t really like it. i only like it in reese’s peanut butter cups, but they probably add a lot of sugar in it if it’s actually real peanut butter. one time when was four i ate a peanut butter & jelly and the peanut butter with bread got stuck to the roof of my mouth so i never ate it several years after that.

Peanut butter and Nutella on toast is the breakfast of champions. Trust me.
I've had both of them separately, think I'm gonna combine them tomorrow morning ;)

I love Reese's! I'd imagine it's half-real/half-artificial.

That must've been a fright for you at that age haha . Peanut can be very dry, sticks to your gums so easily. I always have a cup of tea on standby or a glass of milk.

You should give it second chance! :)

I prefer crunchy over smooth. I really love making peanut butter and banana smoothies.

I love peanut butter! Goes great with chocolate, (*cough, cough* Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) and I love PB&J's. My only gripe is that it tends to stick to the roof of your mouth, but I just wash it down with milk and it's fine. :)

The rest of my family likes peanut butter, my dog included. Though I'm not one to eat it straight from the jar like they do, I used to do that a lot when I was younger.

i like it! i like it both chunky and smooth. i tend to eat it off a spoon or on a nutella and peanut butter sandwich. i like it with chocolate! I'll use just a small dollop of the chunky style in some of the thai food recipes that call for peanuts since i tend to have peanut butter and not peanuts. it still turns out fine in my opinion!

I like peanut butter.

It tastes good in a sandwich either with or without jelly. It also pairs well with apples, bananas, carrots, and celery.

I enjoy baking and occasionally bake those classic peanut butter cookies with the crisscross pattern on top. Then, during Christmastime, one of the various cookies I make includes peanut blossoms. Speaking of Christmas, though more of a candy, I also make chocolate peanut butter balls (or buckeyes, depending on where you're from) which are essentially homemade Reese's Cups but in ball form. Mix peanut butter with a few other ingredients, roll into balls, chill, melt some chocolate with a double broiler, dip them in the melted chocolate, let them sit and then enjoy. Delightful.

That of course leads me to Reese's Cups, which are one of my favorite candies. I don't eat candy outside of Easter or Halloween, but they're great.

Never tried a peanut butter and banana smoothie, but now having seen it mentioned in the thread, I'm going to try making one sometime soon.

Very similar to me

Although, I wash it down with a cup of tea more often than not ;)

I'll have to try the Nutella & PB combo! Sounds delicious :)

Interesting! I love peanut butter and banana toasted sandwiches. Peanut butter goes very well with all fruits in my opinion.

The baking sounds great, I've never heard of Buckeyes, probably because I'm from England but they sound delicious. Reese's are top tier chocolate, so nice.

The smoothie is something I'm going to try soon too!

For a long time I didn’t eat breakfast, but for the past few months I’ve been eating toast for breakfast, and I like peanut butter on it. 😊 I usually buy crunchy peanut butter, but recently I got smooth, and I might like it better!
