This is not meant to cause a stir I just have some questions especially for seekers and cyclers and the community at large..as the last update date of July 25 looks identical to what has been since around last Jan/Feb. So here are the questions.

It looks like the list hasn't been updated since July, how do you guys feel about it, do you think it is still accurate? This is a simple question not a big remark just a question. Also TBT rates have changed as well so as a sellers guide how to do you feel about it? I have seen a lot of desire for t3-5 lately even t 5 yet they get no notices and are often autovoided, how do you feel about that..it makes them to me more sought after and harder to find and hence worth more..as many already have the t1s they want even 2s.. Any thoughts from the community?

Seekers and sellers alike. Do you have any ideas on what may make things more fair on the many who are seeking highly and for a high price the under 2s, and for sellers to be worth thier time..1) How do you sellers and cyclers feel about the price list as TBT has changed greatly and the pricing list has never been adjusted for it that I know of since it was added, and 2) Knowing the lesser tiers may be more in demand how do you feel about autovoid vs non autovoid as I have seen people so desperate to find the lower tiers they are offering t1 level prices..

Please do not spam this board, if you don't like the topic pass it by, but if you have constructive opinions please feel free to respond. Again, these are simple opinions here and I felt the tier board was the totally wrong place to just get community opinions on it. As was general AC discussion I felt this was the right place though general ACC would likely be seen more but it isn't about game play as much as TBT (not the currency, the community :)..).

I dont think the list is as accurate as it could be since there has been a long wait and the popularity of each villager changes all the time, however I do think it's a good guide to base prices off as the more popular villagers tend to be in Tier 1/2 category every time the list is updated, and are therefore proven to be the most popular each time.

1) How do you sellers and cyclers feel about the price list as TBT has changed greatly and the pricing list has never been adjusted for it that I know of since it was added

I feel like most cyclers don't use the prices given on the guide anyway, since the prices are all listed in in-game bells, whereas most cycling towns only accept TBT as payment.

2) Knowing the lesser tiers may be more in demand how do you feel about autovoid vs non autovoid as I have seen people so desperate to find the lower tiers they are offering t1 level prices..

I personally autovoid Tier 4 & 5 villagers because there are so many of them, and it would therefore take me forever to list every single one that moved into my cycle town and wait for offers. And even if I did that, there is only a very small chance that they would attract an offer (which would be very small anyway because of how low their tier is). I take any villagers that are being lurked for off auto-void if they are Tier 4 & 5 to give people a chance to get them, and I give them away free of charge!

When it came to lower tiered villagers, I had more success finding them by posting in the Looking For thread or trying my luck at /r/adoptmyvillager. Usually got them for free too, though I tipped. I do think the guide is pretty handy, last I checked it's run by someone who keeps (kept?) an eye on pretty much all the big AC Villager trading boards and based things from there.

Yeah he did, but I don't believe that person is able to anymore life stuff which is totally normal he did it for a long time. As far as the lower tiers, they are harder to find, I think if sellers or cyclers would realize that since they are so often autovoided they can get IGB or TBT for them that is worth their time as the ones everyone is looking for or said to are always available somewhere but the more scare the more worth..it's basic economics really. I wouldn't be surprised to see a middling villager surpass a t1.

Back when I used to cycle, before I voided a tier 4/5, I would check the "looking for" thread to see if anyone was looking for them. For the most part, a lot of the people looking for tier 4/5 were willing to pay me tier 1 prices because it's that rare to find tier 4/5s since almost every cycler autovoids them. I probably made more selling tier 4/5's than I did with tier 1s. But the thing with cycling is that you want to make as much bells as you can and as fast as you can and most cyclers don't want to waste time holding onto a tier 4/5 when they can cycle quickly and get tiers 1/2/3s.

Before I void anyone in my cycle town, I check the last day's postings on the Looking For thread to see if anyone wants them. Selling off Tier 4s &5s is how I've made most of my bells. Someone is always looking for a villager, it's just a matter of good timing & a cycler being willing to spend the time & look for a buyer.

The tier guide is a good place to start with villager pricing, but I just use it as a guide rather than a hard rule. I don't deal with TBT pricing if I can help it, I think the exchange rate is ridiculous & refuse to bother with it. I deal strictly with IGB or trades.

I think the Tier guide is still fairly accurate, but probably should be updated with minor changes. As for lower Tiers, I believe they should be autovoid as people usually don't want them. However, users should still list them in their cycling thread because there is a possibility they're sought after.

This is actually a really good idea. I was originally going to say to someone else that I can understand why lower tier villagers are autovoided, especially because not only are they not as popular, but there are so many of them, but I feel like they should be held onto for at least like 5-10 minutes or something to give people a fair chance. My ultimate dreamy ever, Robin, is tier 5 and it was a nightmare trying to get her because she was always voided so quickly. I posted in the official looking-for thread but never got messaged, I guess because either people didn't think to look there or she rarely moves in? But yeah I think it would be really helpful for more cyclers to do this, if they don't already.

The problem I have is I think the tiers for villagers and pricing to reflect inflation need adjusting..some t4 5s are surely 1 or 2 since the start of July and TBT to IGB is away different. I am seeing so many t 3-5 seekers be stumped by cyclers using a faulty guide and losing out big time as the guide changed a lot per month even per 2 weeks so by now I'm sure it's just not...in synch with the community so I hope cyclers start listing all tiers as there is no hard set tier list ATM. It is no longer updated as of July 2 and no one is taking over or coming back to it..and we change and flux here often. Just my opinion though but I see t 1 and 2s that can't be sold at all so so etching is up...

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to change that "guide" since the poster is inactive. The only solution I can come up with is creating the guide again and asking the mods to sticky the new version and remove the old. But before all that, I'd try to get permission from the original poster.

And honestly, it really is up to cyclers on which tiers they void/keep. You can't make cyclers keep tier 4/5s even if there are a lot of people seeking them. I think it's best to do a quick search on the forums to see if anyone needs the villager before you void them regardless of tiers BUT most cyclers are lazy or just don't have the time.

Nowadays, there's SOOOO many cyclers in the villager thread that I don't think it's hard to get your dreamies at all. You can easily sell 100 forum bells and get 20 million IGB or buy tier 1-5s with your 100 forum bells.

I actually got a kid cat for free (not from bell tree) because he's no longer popular. I think the guide is a great reference but the price might be a bit off.
