The Town of Abydos!

I just wanted to share with you all my journey so far on my Town of Abydos, I moved here after the town of Loxley fell into ruins and was abandoned following a power struggle with some of the villagers who started accuing me of witchcraft, I had to get out of there pronto! I named my town after Abydos the planet from the TV series Stargate SG-1, always been a huge fan of the show and grew up watching it lots.

Here are some photos since arriving in Abydos! Oh and Abydos is also the name of an ancient Egyptian city.












I will be taking alot more hopefully after all I have a 32GB memory card in my 3DS

I have had loads of funny moments so far in my town, like for example, I went snooping in Timbras drawers and she yelled at me, then decides to give me her stinking old cushion from there that was dusty

Even my town Flag is Based off the SG-1 show, the current flag is the symbol of the Goauld System lord known as Moloc. I am going to create some more flag designs and share them in the coming days

Good luck in your town. Looks like you got some pretty decent starting villagers. Wish I'd had that kind of luck with Gemedet...oh well. ^_^

My starter villagers were Mot, Carmen, Molly, Fang and Timbre. I know Fang is a Tier 1 villager so thats super awesome

Molly is super popular, too. And Carmen is a cute rabbit. But oh man, Fang as a starter is some good luck.

If you want to take more pics, post the image on miiverse, and get it from online. It is way easier!

I second what the poster above me said, I use miiverse to get my screenshots for my tumblr. It's a lot simpler that taking out my SD card and uploading them to my computer.

I second what the poster above me said, I use miiverse to get my screenshots for my tumblr. It's a lot simpler that taking out my SD card and uploading them to my computer.

I recently discovered that I don't need to take out the SD card to get off my photos...I just used this DS to PC transfer option. It took a few minutes, but still. Easy peasy.

Really? I actually never knew that. I still prefer to use miiverse since it's so quick, but that's an interesting discovery.

Sad to hear about Loxley! But then, when you think about it, the Merry Men could sometimes be a bit of a rowdy bunch!
