Winter is the nicest season where I live. It has the least amount of days that reach 80F (approx 27C), and I can't really complain about the cold spells because I can just put on layers. Much preferred over those stale, sunny, hot days that make up the majority of every other season.
Even if winter would actually winter and be cold and snowy/icy I would still prefer it over Spring and Summer. Those seasons are just awful where I live and there's no getting around it. Winter is an oasis. Bugs go away temporarily (but they're back by February nowadays). Tornadoes and severe thunderstorms are much rarer. The heat becomes rare (although it still happens. >.>), etc., etc.
I love winter in general, though. I like chilly days. I like cold nights where I can sleep under all of the layers on my bed. I love the aesthetics of winter in nature. It's a happy time for me.
I'm a bit mixed when it comes to Winter. It's probably my second favorite season because of Christmastime and its associated foods, festivities, and music, as well as the nice scenery that comes with snowfall.
It's a nice time of year, but as I've gotten older (and thinner) I've found that I tolerate the cold weather a bit less well than I did in my youth. Then there's also the ice on the streets, heavy traffic and large crowds in stores around Christmastime, and higher heating bills.
I think my inner child and my aesthetic tastes win out in the end and say that I overall like Winter. That said, as mentioned earlier it's only in second place because Autumn is my favorite season.
my depression is 100% better in the winter than it is in the summer.
i ****ing hate the summer and winter is my second fave season, right behind fall. :>
Well this is clickbait if I've ever seen it. To answer the question though, winter is pretty rad. I love the overall feel it gives. Toasty fires, hot coco, the beautiful scenery, and indoor galore.
I do love me some winter, though I'm a bit more partial to fall. Then it would be spring....then summer. Yeah, I'm not A big fan of summer...feeling hot and sticky is just gross.
I like spring and fall the best since they're not too cold and not too hot. I hate it being so cold that I have to put on 50 layers of clothing when I go outside, and I hate it being so hot that I have to basically wear nothing when I go outside. Not gonna lie, I don't like the sicknesses that come with winter either. Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year, but I look forward to the event not the weather you feel me?
I am very fond of winter, although fall is my favorite, winter is a close second. I prefer cold weather because I can bundle up and be happy. I love the snow and rain and it's just a happy time for me.
It's my least favorite season. I hate being cold but in the end it's the darkness that makes it so bad. If the days were longer, winter would probably be much more bearable. It's rarely sunny in winter either so that just adds to the gloom. Snow can look pretty but mostly it just makes me not want to go outside.
hhhh don't exactly know which option I should choose
I love the cold and the snow, it's just that I hate hate HATE how short the days are (like the sun sets at 5:30?? what on earth). long snowy nights are nice at first I guess, but once it's january/february and the novelty of the holidays wears off, I just get super moody and lethargic bc there's so little sunlight and it's awwwwful. if the days were longer it'd definitely be my favourite season :/
I hate winter. I lived in Winnipeg and then Calgary, both of which get horrible winters. Several feet of snow on the ground, -30 C (-22 F) for days on end, brutal winds and it lasts for five months. At least. I've had enough of it. I want to live somewhere where winter just isn't a thing.
Snow is nice for a little while around Christmas but after that I'm done with it.
i looooooove winter. i live in nyc and truth be told, the snow can get dirty and mushy and disgusting faster than it can block a road. but when its not snowing, u get to walk around in boots, coats, gloves, scarves... the whole deal! and dont try and tell me pink noses from being in the cold arent endearing. they absolutely are.
also hot choc never tastes good until the temperature is firmly under 30 degrees fahrenheit. i will actually fight anyone who disagrees. winner gets mini marshmallows.
that being said, autumn is obviously the greatest :^)

forgot about christmas!!! im not even christian nor do i celebrate the holiday but christmas time just brings out the best in people. holly wreaths on doors and huge inflatable santas scattered through each street... christmas caroling everywhere??? all i want for christmas by mariah carey is the greatest modern piece of music. fr.
it's okay! our winters aren't that cold compared to other places (considering that it doesnt snow) so it's bearable. i dont like it when it gets too cold though.
Love it! Sure I don't enjoy freezing in -20? C temperatures, but snow and ice are too beautiful.
Even when we were hit with a severe ice storm in 2013 which killed all power for three days, it was still gorgeous outside. It's also not Christmas for me without snow, ice skating, and sledding.
The best is being bundled up inside during heavy snowfall and it's completely white outside - I'm very grateful to experience this season despite its annoyances.
