I'm really happy nor time traveling during the update. Sure I'm a little upset that I can't order more than five items at nook shopping, but it helps me sort of take time and not speed run to collect everything.
I'm pretty sure you can't possibly collect everything it within the last 48 hours without a ton of help.
I'm really happy that happy home paradise because it definitely gives us more to do.
Besides, I have to rack up all my nook miles back up again!

I don't really TT, but I do jump in a way.
If I want to start the next day, I'll set it up and start and do what I need.
Once I'm done, I'll save and reset the time and will not touch the game again until past the time I saved on the next day.
I will not go further than 1 day.

This was a big update and there's definitely a lot to do and collect, so getting everything within the 1st or 2nd day will definitely be a big accomplishment. I don't see myself getting everything until.... who knows...

Yeah I am not time traveling as much because the Happy Home Paradise is encouraging me to work on a lot of homes and thanks to amiibo cards I was able to make 24 homes yesterday. I still have a long way to go to unlock that feature to customize villager homes on my island.

Definitely noticing I am not time traveling as much as I had before. Maybe jump a day ahead for another trip to Kappn's island or check Leif's starters on Harv's island but I'm taking it much slower. Although due to my current workload I haven't been able to properly check out HHP lol

Same! I never TT’ed much prior, maybe just a couple days at a time to get houses moved/bridges built etc, but now I’m actually playing each day and turning the game off when I’m finished, and waiting the intended time for certain things to happen! Tbh I’ve found that it has lessened the feeling of stress that comes with having SO much to do. It makes me wish I had played my island this way from the start.

I’m trying to TT to move some amiibo people in but it’s going SO SLOW because there is so much I want to do each day and on HHP. Which is great haha but usually I could just bust them out.

I feel the same. I would get bored and TT a lot but with the update and the DLC there's so much to do. I can't lie, there's probably still a day or two's worth of skipping throughout the entire actual day as I am desperate to see new items in shops, but I'm having a lot more fun taking it slow!

I don't TT, I like to take things slow. Last week was the only intention I wanted to TT in the first place and that was to make some easier money to prep for Harv's Island expansion, and also to try and move in Petri before I do anything else new in the 2.0 update.

Now that they're over I can keep up with real time and enjoy every update moment without wasting it due to being impatient and wanting to do it now than later.

Yep, I ain't TTing in this update, I feel like otherwise I'll get too overwhelmed and addicted lol

ive been tt-ing more actually to move sasha in via amiibo but i probably wont tt much after that. i didnt really tt very often before though. i agree its more fun to not experience all of the new content/ gather all the new items at once. plus tt-ing feels like a chore unless theres something youre super excited about

I only time travel when I’m doing renovations such as moving houses or placing bridges. However since the update dropped I’ve stopped altogether and will let things progress naturally. I want to stay invested in this game for as long as possible now including decorating my island.

Yah that's fair, I TTed a ton on the first day to kick someone else out and hunt for Shino or Sasha lol
But NOW I'm moving slower at least

I still TT but I have a lot more to do before I need to TT to the next day. Before I would just look for DIY's, look in the shops, find my NPC for the day, and then move on. With the DLC here as well I add that to my daily list as well which takes a lot longer to finish.
